“Good location to stop while traveling. Wanted to see Lake Norman. Good locate to see lake area and fun restaurant at the hotel. Not fancy but great for travelers.”

“We stayed here for one night while driving, just needing a safe and simple place to sleep. The room itself did the job and everything was fine for a quick overnight stay. However, I specifically chose this hotel because it advertised an indoor pool for my kids after a long day in the car, and unfortunately it was closed and not functional. That was really disappointing, especially since it was the main reason I booked here. If the pool matters to you, I’d strongly recommend calling ahead to……

“Amazing overnight accommodation with a super comfortable Ling sized bedroom suite followed by homemade, from scratch, tasty breakfast food on the weekend mornings. The room was clean, and had all the amenities a night away from home could ever need. The Inn was decorated eloquently and the owners went above and beyond to make themselves known, available and you could feel the southern hospitality flowing through every room. The local shops, restaurants, and bars we visited all came through……

“The room was clean, but very dated and worn. They advertise a pool, which is outdoors, and is not in service as it is filled with a green mossy mess. On the upside, I had the place nearly to myself, and there wasn’t a lot of noise from the property, but you can definitely hear the nearby speedway in the room. I did have a strong smell of smoke from an adjoining room one day during my stay. The staff was pleasant.”
