Hotels near Chestnut Hill Av. Station

"The location is definitely central central right above the Aquarium Station on the blue line. You’re basically close to anywhere you want to go, be it Boston Commons, Fenway Park, The Freedom Trail etc. There are loads of bars and shops and restaurants around, and you’re so close to the waterfront you can take harbor cruise and get to all seaside restaurants within a short walk. Even the USS Constitution, the oldest American naval vessel at service is only a 15 minutes ferry ride away within 10 minutes walk, and the ferry only cost $3.7, definitely worth going. The property is a bit old, still using keys instead of key cards, but it’s very clean and the interior is updated and nice. Definitely a very comfortable stay within walking distance to anywhere you want to go. "

"The staff was nothing but helpful and kind. The overall vibe of the hotel was very nice and modern. The complimentary breakfast was fine. Unfortunately the first night of my stay they had me in a room that the door wouldn't close all the way. The lock did engage, but there was a slight gap. I was so tired from traveling that I didn't say anything because I just wanted to go to sleep and I assumed it was just due to the old hotel (as I saw some hints of damage in the bathroom/shower area). Well, I didn't get much sleep. Where my room was located was right next to a set of stairs and because of the gap in the door I could hear every single person walking up and down those stairs. So the next morning I said something to the front desk and they immediately sent someone from maintenance to my room. He found that my door frame didn't have a metal plate and that's why the door wouldn't close properly. They offered to move me to a different room right next door, but I thought that didn't make much sense. So the next night, with the door fully closed, I still couldn't sleep because all I heard was people going up and down the stairs all night. My advice is not to put people in the room right by the stairs. Overall though, the staff was nice, the hotel was beautiful, the proximity to Fenway was ideal. "

"Lovely hotel. I love the closeness of the hotel to downtown. The rooms are perfect with a beautiful room. It’s nice to stay in a different type of hotel aesthetic. If you want the typical standard hotel room, don’t book here then complain. The hotel is lovely with great vibes."
