The property itself is great. Building is almost weirdly pristine. The area is somewhat inconvenient. Jiayi is a rural town in the end and there is a distinct lack of sidewalks. Combined with the frantic scooter traffic and walking around with luggage can feel sketchy.

I stayed in a Japanese style room for 4. It has 1.5 bath. Very spacious, probably double, if not more, the size of a regular room. Really like it. There were desserts and drinks in the fridge. There were fruits on the family room table. It’s located near a busy intersection with abundant food choices. Too bad I couldn’t stay longer.

Building looks old but lobby and rooms were very clean. Felt very welcomed by the staff and they were extremely helpful in helping me call for taxis to wherever I needed to go.

The staffs are very friendly and very helpful in all aspects of the services. The room was clean. The hotel does not provide any bottled water but a drinking water dispenser with filtered water and bubbling water are provided at a convenience location on each floor. Con: The room overhead lightings are poorly designed over the beds. Only one light for the double/queen's beds occupant. The bathroom lighting is extremely poor and very inadequate for shaving or makeup uses. Finally, the showerhead cannot be adjusted so the water always sprayed on to the bathroom floor

The staffs were really nice and helpful. We reached the hotel earlier and the room wasn't ready but they allowed us to store out baggage with them and they transferred it to the room for us before we came back in the afternoon. Only down points are that the corridors are pretty dark and the beds are a too hard for our liking. Value for money

This was a pleasant stay for my family. The location was great in Chiayi city center. The staff were kind and attentive. ( I requested help with a 2 hour long taxi ride which they arranged for a fair price in under 24 hours.) We slept comfortably and enjoyed the breakfast.

We selected this hotel because of their Muslim friendly. They have separate utensils for Muslims during meals in their restaurant. Bidet in available in the bathroom which is convenient. Would recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Alishan National Park.
