One Night Stay
Very disappointed; with rooms of hotel, the hotel unfortunately, for me an my wife and two accompanying friends, all felt the pictures on the web site when we booked, were not a true representation, of the hotel, which we booked several months earlier. Based on our comparisons of pictures and reality, were sadly dissimilar, from reality. Would suggest very little difference between budget and hotel, so choose wisely.

Our dog was a bit bigger than they accepted. We offered to go elsewhere But they did accept us Then. A small happy dog on our floor barked loudly all night SmAll but noisey

On the positive side: parking is great and included. They have done a good work in offering breakfast and service in spite of corona, that feels safe. Negatives: The bed was not very comfortable - thin. The bathroom is small and feels like a box. The pricis a bit high for what you get, compared to other options in the area. However, as a stopiver for one night, it worked out fine.

Ideal location to explore St Jean de Luz
Very clean hotel in a very central, but peaceful location. There is a train line next to the hotel but we were unaware of any train noise. There is a short walk to the town centre and to the beach. This suited us just fine as there was no noise to disturb us at night. The staff were very friendly. Occasionally, the bar staff were no where to be seen. The hotel has an excellent scheme to encourage customers to be more environment conscious. A free drink per person is offered if you do not require servicing of your room, change of towels, etc. I would recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally Clean & Good Value for your Money
Nice hotel a few hundred yards walk to the port & town centre. In a mainly office & residential area, it is busy during the day but much quieter after 5pm, the only exception being the railway line that runs beside the hotel! However this is an electric line so only low level noise and zero vibration. The onsite multi level secure parking was a real bonus as street parking is free but difficult to find!

Quiet, beach side resort town.
In St. Jean de Luz, one could find a great many restaurants. In Ciboure, the assortment was much more limited.

Great location for Beach and town.
You know what you get with Ibis. Clean, tidy, good service and location. Great car park. My only complaint about these hotels is there is never a small fridge in the room to store water. Had to buy €4.50 bottle of cold water from the bar. Would be nice to be able to have a cold drink in the room at night!

Great choice for a visit to St Jean de Luz
The free secure parking was a real bonus for a hotel so close to bustling St Jean de Luz a short walk away. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Easy access to Biarritz and San Sebastian and the pyrenees mountains for days out.

Ok but noisy
Stayed 1night on our way down to Spain. Chose this hotel even though it is over the bridge mainly due to booking late so limited availability in anything else reasonable priced. Our 6th floor room faced the river and was extremely noisy due to road and railway bridges. Room as you would expect but feel it's expensive for an Ibis. Staff were ok. We never eat breakfast in a French hotel,so,can't comment on that, but bed comfy and shower good.

nice hotel for the value
This was a nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were clean but somewhat small for two people with sizable luggage. I did not find the beds to be comfortable but beds are a personal preference and may not bother someone else. The neighborhood was safe and in a good location. It was only a short walk, maybe 8 min, into Saint Jean city center. The rooms were quiet, which is always a bonus. The breakfast was reasonably priced and consisted of yogurts, cereal, breads, coffee and teas. I would stay here again.

Could not fault this hotel
It's the second time we have stayed here and would highly recommend it, room very comfortable and clean with excellent balcony and view. Location excellent for st jean du luz just a short walk away. Have taken our small dog both times with no problem at all. Are almost certain we shall be visiting again next year on route home from Spain.

We stayed in a standard double room which was in very good condition and kept very clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff spoke good English. The free parking is first come first served in the streets surrounding the hotel. We managed to find a space upon arrival but I wouldn't say it is guaranteed. Our main issue was with the air-conditioning, or the lack of. After realising it was not working we spoke to the hotel staff and their reason was because the weather had been changeable they had only turned the air-con on the day before and it takes 2 days to actually work (apparently). I understand they do not to keep it on all year round, but by mid-June (at around 30degC) we thought it would have been on, hence why we paid more to stay in a hotel that listed air-con as a facility.

Great location
We had a happy and confortable stay at this hotel. It is modern and clean and the rooms were a good size. The location is great as it is an easy walk into St Jean de Luz with all the shops and buzz but the hotel itself is very close to 2 of the best resturants around, especially a fish resturant in Ciboure itself right next to the pretty port. Would definately return here.

I stayed one night on my way from Lisbon to The Hague, and it was a restful stay. It is a simple, but clean and cosy hotel. I appreciated the breakfast.

nice hotel very near attractive town.
Easy to find and ideal for our overnight stop on our journey north. Very clean with a friendly helpful staff. Secure underground parking which, unfortunately, was not in the same building although very close, with a rather confusing code system for the gates/doors!

Agréable pour une nuit
Très bien accueillie à accueil,(il faudrait qu'elle parle un peu plus fort).Le lit est grand(160 de large),on y dort bien. La salle de bain est petite mais suffisant. Pour le petit déjeuner, il faut aller chercher le jus d'orange de l'autre coté de la salle, il manquait du beurre pour faire des tartines. Il y a un garage pour sécurisé la voiture.
