I checked in Jan 20. It was 11 degrees. The first room had no lights, and no working television to light up the room. It was 65 degrees in that room. I was given the next room on the same floor. I could not open the door, so the front desk clerk opened it for me. TV did not work, so she came back with second remote, no batteries. Came back with batteries, but I had TV on. Temp was 50 degrees so she adjusted heat and said it would warm up in 15 minutes. That was about I spent 1/2 hour and temp went from 50 to 51. Hair in bottom of bathtub. Never took my coat off. waited until 9:30ish when I asked for a refund, (which the clerk granted, but now Expedia says they can't refund) I did not know I had to cancel thru Expedia. And how would I explain these conditions? I booked Hampton thru Expedia for that same night. Sleeping in 70 is better than 50 degrees. This sucks! I hope to get a call from Kings Inn Manager to tell Expedia I NEED MY MONEY BACK! Receipt says completing renovations in 2024...HUMMMM....
