Very nice home! Tv upstairs didn’t work tv down stairs was like a 24 inch. Tried calling Dan but his phone went to voice mail. The owner was sick didn’t want to bother him . It’s a beautiful place great view. Nosy neighbors that walk around the house every morning at 7 AM. So if you don’t mind then it’s fine. We had a fire one night next morning they were out there staring at the fire pit. Other than that I really was a great place perfect spot for your boat.

Amazing family vacation
We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of this property. A lot of rentals have cheap furniture and mattresses, not this one. Everything felt like high end quality and the beds were actually comfortable! The location is situated between both Clayton and Abay whcihw as very nice. There are also 2 state parks with beaches within a few miles as well. We hope to be back next year!

Wonderful River Rental
We spent a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was was very nice, well stocked and the view of the river and sunsets were fantastic! Dan, the property manager, was very helpful with information and answers to our questions. We would definitely request to stay at this rental the next time we plan a vacation in the area.

This has become our yearly trip.

Updated cottage with a view
This property was a dream come true! Everything is brand new!! Kitchen was a dream!! There is a sun porch, and sunrise patio for coffee! The outdoor patio is huge and offers breathtaking sunsets!! We had no issues what so ever!!

5 of us stayed here for the week, we absolutely adore the property. The view of the St Lawrence is amazing the sun sets on the river are absolutely stunning (to the point we hurried home to watch them nightly). The community in the park is very nice and treated us all like family, my Grandchildren fell in love with Ginger the dog LOL. All in all i would highly reccomend this rental to anyone.

Joe and Dan were fantastic communicators. The property was well maintained and we loved the renovated house. Neighbors were incredibly friendly. Location was great and waking up to a beautiful view of the river was one of our favorite parts. We’ve been coming up for over 30 years and this place was easily one of our favorites!

Simply Great
If you are looking for a fully renovated camp on the River this is your place. We enjoyed every bit of this place. The views of the big boats and the sunsets from the deck are amazing. We enjoyed the fire-pit located right on the edge of the river. The local property maintenance man “Dan” was exceptional. We would absolutely visit again. Thanks!

Beautiful spot to explore the thousand islands from!
No complaints at all about this place! Beautiful view of the river right from the living room. We brought our 18’ IO boat and took it out almost every day. It is pretty shallow getting in and out of the bay where the house and dock is. Great for swimming for the kids but a little tricky with a loaded boat. Wouldn’t be an issue if the water was higher. But, Dan was great getting us set up and giving us tips on navigating the river and spots to go. Met a few people from the trailer park behind the house. Everybody was super friendly. Most nights we had the fire pit to ourselves tho. House was super comfortable and had everything we need. Hope they keep renting the place out!

Good, but not great
When we first got to the house I could not unlock the door but once I reached out to Dan and joe they had that fixed right away. The house was perfect. Super clean and they had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We booked the house for a group of women to get together for my bachelorette party. The house sleeps 6-8 so naturally everyone met at the house and there was 6 vehicles parked in the driveway. It did say on the info only 2 cars to be parked at a time but I did not catch that. The next morning Dan pulled up and told me I needed to move cars because there was complaints even though by this time half the vehicles had left and the other 2 were going to be leaving within a few hours and I did have guest coming to congratulate me and visit by the water. I explained this to Dan and did not understand why a couple extra cars during the afternoon was such a problem if they were up out of the way and leaving and he just said people of the trailer park were complaining and that there was a parking spot on the other side of the trailers and left in his boat. My guest had to drive around and ask the residents of the area where we were to park and it was on the opposite end of all the trailers. I then went to pick them up because I was bothered I invited them and then they had to do all of that and it was 87 degrees and I was driving 8mph, yes the speed limit is 5 mph but I was just scooting across to get them and the residents were yelling slow down at my car and my guest said they were shouted at when they drove through too and they were not going above the speed limit! We wouldn’t have had to move if they did not claim our cars were an issue. I could not figure out why they were even considered in the way as there was plenty of space by the drop off and pick up area for anybody to pull in and turn around even if they had a big boat on their hitch. The next morning I went to take the trash out as it was asked in the agreement and there were no bins outside so I asked Dan where I was to put the trash and I had to drive it over to the parking area and put it in the dumpster ourselves. After a weekend with many guest the last thing I wanted was to fit trash in my loaded car and drive back through were I was screamed at. I am not sure why Dan didn’t put the trash bins out when our check out time came and grab them with his golf cart that he drove all over the day before with the amount you pay to use the house

Perfect week at this beautiful house
We were so happy with the house and our time in the 1000 Islands. The house is beautiful, clean and the location is perfectly located between Clayton and A-Bay. We have 4 kids and the bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom worked great while my husband and I had the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The deck and view were beautiful, we walked out on the docks, had a bon fire and enjoyed walking around Fishers Landing. Everyone was so friendly. The property manager Dan is so friendly and available to us. A huge storm rolled in and we lost power for about a hour, the manager and the home owner both contacted us to make sure we were okay and asked if we needed anything. If you plan to cook in, bring your oils and spices. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare food but only salt and pepper were in the pantry. We highly recommend seeing Singer Castle in addition to Boldt Castle. The trip out to Rock Island Lighthouse is also beautiful. Great family vacation, highly recommended.

It was a great location on the water, we took our 4 Granddaughters ages 10-18 the house was perfect.
House was beautiful, with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Only thing I was glad I asked about prior was the towels,the house only came with 2 sets of towels it sleeps 6 people, assumed there’d be towels for 6, so we had to bring our own towels along .. No washer or dryer so off to the laundry mat we went, other than those 2 things, we couldn’t asked for a more perfect location, and beautiful home to spend it in.

River Stay
We’ve been going to the St Lawrence for almost 35 years and our family adores the River! This was our first time staying at this property. We loved the view. Dan the property manager is an absolutely great guy!! The home is in front of a mobile home park and some of the spaces that are shown with the property are shared spaces with the other people in the park. At times it felt as though we had little privacy and if you are seeking absolute serenity this is not the place for you. Everyone was very nice and welcomed us to the home. It is a strong maybe that we will strong here again. We were hoping for more privacy

Hidden gem
Have been going to the Thousand Island area for 45 years and have always had a great time - this week was no exception! Fishers Landing is a great little community : ) The house, property, and neighbors were all great! And the sunsets were incredible! The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the property manager, Dan was always available if we had a question. We brought a small runabout and had a great time exploring the river - which is the absolute highlight of the Thousand Island area - it's a very clean river, and the fishing is great! There are also several very good restaurants within a few miles. I suggest the local perch if you like fish. Will be going again next year!

Great first time to Thousand Islands!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Joe’s property! We were looking for a picturesque quiet place we could enjoy and stay to ourselves due to Covid pandemic. Note: We didn’t realize from the listing and pictures that the property is part of a mobile home community; the house sits in front of mobile homes. The dock, and swim area and fire pit are for the entire community. Will say that everyone was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that hospitality! Dan was helpful during checkin and with questions. To help others considering this rental: WiFi for phone and internet was excellent. Air conditioning was excellent. Ample Dishes, Pots and pans and silverware. All paper products and trash bags provided. Parts of the boat dock are badly damaged from storms. We had one very windy day and had concerns about our boat being docked at a rickety part of dock but some neighbors assisted thank God. New docks were being constructed while we were there and look great. Hopefully these are replacing the damaged ones. Beautiful view and easy access to river. Shoals marked well. Would recommend this rental!

Enjoyed but to short
The property was great . We had to cut our time extremely short but enjoyed the house for the time we were there. Sun room was sweet but did not have time to enjoy. The deck was great but wasn't not able to take advantage of while we were there . Living room had a beautiful view of the lake. Hoping in the future we would be able to stay longer. My husband and grandson had a bass fishing tournament out of Clayton and two others which were just to far away to stay we had a mix-up with the dates, and location. They had a tennis court and docking for boats which is a big advantage if vacationing there with a family but for us another time.

Fisher's Landing Rental
The location and home were outstanding. The views, dock accessibility, swimming accessibility and overall outdoor set ups were perfect. The home was adequately supplied with basic necessities. I did have difficulty having anyone return phone calls regarding check in for over a week prior so was tense traveling 14 hours until just hours before arrival. That was not appreciated. The on site assistance was fantastic though once we arrived and met the overseer who resides nearby and was unaware of the previous lack of communication. The adjacent park residents couldn't have been nicer and were a great social addition. I would rent again in a heartbeat but for one serious flaw - there is simply no water pressure. Showers and use of both bathrooms had to be coordinated 24/7 among our group or neither were operational. We had numerous events where someone taking a shower was suddenly left without any water whatsoever and had to wait 10 minutes for the water to resume. We ended up leaving a day earlier than what we paid for as a result. We have received no feedback regarding this challenge nor any offer to compensate us for having to shorten our vacation due to water issues.

Nice place, but....
My family and I spent a week there in mid-July and had a great time. Here's the good and bad: Good: Nice location(very central to Abay, Clayton), great views, lots of room, clean, air conditioned, park manager is very nice. Bad: Docks are terrible(had to rent a slip at the local marina), water pressure is minimal(showers just dribble out water), broken grill(replaced while we were there, but too late to make a difference. This should have been replaced before we got there.), all the beds are full or singles(at the very least the master bedroom should have a queen), deck should have table/chairs/umbrella(no place to eat outdoors and the deck gets so much afternoon sun it is unusable without some shade).

Grandparents delight!
We rented this property for our children and grandchildren to be able to come and visit and stay together. The house was absolutely perfect! It had everything needed to be comfortable. We had plans to take the kids mini-golfing etc but we never left the house. They swam and fished right there from morning until night. The residents of the park were very friendly and extremely nice to the little ones. They joined us for smores by the campfire at night! The owner and park manager both were very nice, and easy to work with. They checked in daily to see if we needed anything. This property is truly a perfect spot for a family vacation. We hope to use it again! Thank you!

Great Find in the 1000 Islands
Excellent location about half way between Alex Bay and Clayton; kids loved fishing and swimming off the docks; nice fire pit; beautiful view with big ships passing by each day; cottage was clean, spacious & well stocked; sharing common areas (i.e. docks/fire pit) with the trailer park was not an issue. Very friendly neighbors, yet not intrusive. Small issues (not a big deal, just giving a balanced review so you know it's not fake): low water pressure in showers; no washer/dryer; caught a few spiders in the house. 4.5 out of 5...rounds up to 5 stars. Well worth the price in my opinion.

The house is situated right on the St Lawrence river. Very spacious and comfortable. It was humid and we enjoyed the central air conditioner. The house is located right between Clayton and Alexandria Bay. Conventinet to everything. We were well cared for and couldn’t have asked for more.

Great Location
We are a family of (4)... this place worked out great, great location, between A Bay and Clayton. We brought our boat which made the whole trip. Had a nice dock to park at. The house was clean, had everything as advertised. A great Deck with sunset viewing. Easy in and out with the Kayaks and the Bay made it easy for my little guy to paddle around in safely. My son and I played Tennis too most days, there is a court close by.

Enjoyable
Two couples that love to fish and sight see that area enjoyed the property very much. Our weather was beautiful and Dan and Sheri made sure our stay was very enjoyable. The information you receive on the property is very limited, things like " what to do with the trash ? " but the property managers , Dan and Sheri will help with everything. We normally stay at Wellesley State Park cabins but decided on this place this year with a little more comfort and were not disappointed. The view is awesome from the deck !

Very relaxed setting. Wonderful view of the river - even from the couch!
We stayed here when our daughter was married in Alex Bay. It was a very peaceful, serene location. Very relaxing and comfortable. Ideally located between Alex Bay and Clayton. The only thing that alarmed me was a FAKE snake on top of one of the bushes off the deck. I'm assuming this keeps the birds away. It made me jump nearly out of my skin, but gave my family a good laugh, so just be aware. (There's one on the roof too!)
