FAMILY CELEBRATION
GREAT PROPERTY, KITCHEN IS AWESOME BEDS COMFY AND GREAT SPOT FOR 5 GRANDKIDS. LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE GAME ROOM AND HOT TUB....one issue on the back patio had tons of rusty roofing nails that were an issue as one kid took one through a shoe...she's tough and was fine...we swept the patio and cleaned them all up....

Perfect getaway for a big group
This was a great house for a large group of 8. Clean, modern, right on the pond + golf course, very welcoming and had all the essentials we needed. The only drawback, and this is minor, is the sound/music system is antiquated. The surround sound speakers didn't work and there was no way to play our own music (i.e. Pandora option on TV, bluetooth connection for phone, etc.). That is really the standard these days for the type of money we spent. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Great large family getaway!
Dog friendly (a rare find)! And beautiful home. It was in a beautiful area of Suncadia, and local to Roslyn and the CleElum beach and lake. Beautiful hikes.

Yearly Family Vacation
There were 17 of us most of the time for our yearly get-together. Lots of good time just to be together, play games, puzzles, eat, sharing. We all enjoyed the view of the golf course, pond, eagle, deer. Plenty of beds, kitchen supplies and utensils, bicycles to ride,

Great for a big group
We really enjoyed our stay! I don’t know if I would recommend this house for a big group with a lot of younger children - the big bunk area upstairs is open to all of the downstairs so noise and light are present. But it would be great for a group of couples - we had a family reunion but the youngest was 20 - so we were all up later and slept in (or ran to get local coffee and visit outside) The house was very well stocked and the management was SUPER responsive and VERY helpful - quick responses the couple of times we reached out All the info and clear instructions ahead of time was helpful! We would definitely rent again here!

Perfect for families with teens
Great property. We took a group of high school seniors and another couple. The teens spent hours at the park playing basketball, soccer and more. The game room in the garage was a hit with the adults and the kids. It is just far enough from the main living area we could barely hear the cheers and music. The kitchen had everything we needed, including platters, bowls and tools. It could use a salad spinner. Only thing that was a problem was the BBQ. It needs to be replaced or repaired. Even on high we were unable to get it hot. Ended up using the oven instead. Not ideal and did not dampen our moods, just a note. Fortunately all our BBQ items could be done in the oven. Main bath shower heads are a poor design but we did get clean… Hot tub was awesome as was the outdoor fire, kids did s’mores. The view is awesome. Would rent this house again. The kids want it to be an annual event when they are home from college… Thank you.

Fun at Coal Mine Lodge
The house was prettier in person and very clean upon arrival. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with cooking basics and pots/pans. Only downsides were the lack of towels (beach and bath) provided, as well as the temperature of the hot tub (not hot enough). Despite these things we had a great time and would love to rebook in the future!

Great Stay!
We had an amazing experience. The house was really nice and big. Great for big family gatherings. The location of the house was also great! The only con about this home that I want to mention is that the pots and pans were extremely worn out and need to be changed. It’s not safe to make food in those pans. Most of the plates were also chipped. We had our own plastic plates and stuff but still just want to mention that point.

Summer vacation
Everything was great. Lots of room for the kids to run around inside and outside of the house. The kids loved the twin sized bunk beds. They were very exited to be able to sleep with their cousins. The house was super clean and equipped with all the cooking pots and utensils we needed.

Wonderful Vacation Home
Overall, my family loved staying at this large, beautiful home in Suncadia. The location was perfect - private, yet very accessible to Dawson Park and the Lodge. The only downside are the uncomfortable beds. None of the otherwise well-appointed rooms had a comfortable bed. I recommend either putting mattress toppers on the beds or getting better mattresses.

Great place for close friends/family, clean, fun, good features, cheap beds
We had a great time at this cabin with four different families and several small children (ages 3-8). Should be noted by anyone planning on bringing small children that the area with the large bunk beds, twin bed and tv area is above the main living area in a loft style so if kids go to bed early you definitely have to go into the play room/garage to hang out! Kitchen was great with lots of amenities and storage. Fridge is pretty small for feeding up to 18 people on a trip. Main couch was super comfortable and nice, beds were pretty awful. Could use better mattresses for anyone over the age of 30. Lots of seating in kitchen area was great. Lots of space for kids to run around. Walkable to a GREAT neighborhood park that has toys and equipment available to rent for free! View of the little golf pond out back was nice and relaxing. Bring bug spray/candles though. Hot tub was great, good temp and clean. Couldn't figure out how to enter the master bedroom from the outside as there wasn't a key to unlock the door and there isn't any screen doors/windows. Would have appreciated a few fans to keep in rooms for noise/air movement at night since can't open windows. If there was any, we couldn't find any games to go with the game systems (wii), but you could bring your own games if you want to use them. The garage playroom was GREAT! We had a lot of fun out there. Lots of parking was appreciated too. Laundry room was nice and had detergent pods available to use. All rooms were good sized and tall ceilings, very spacious and lovely. Overall, great place and would recommend for groups of close friends/family.

Great large group weekend get-a-way!
This property was perfect for us! There was plenty of room, the kids spent early mornings in the game room which gave the adults some nice coffee/quiet time. There were so many pots & pans and all we needed for cooking and all our meals for the 13 of us. The only complaints were there could have been more cutlery . The other problem for our group in particular was the loft for the kids. The adults had to whisper and be super quiet in the living area and still it was hard for some of the kids to go to sleep. It was a bit chilly to sit outside as the firepit did not put out much heat, although it was beautiful! We would highly recommend this home for a large group! Playground was very close, and trails great for walking. Ducks on the gulf pond and fish swimming in it as well.

Family Birthday Celebration.
We booked this house to celebrate my brothers 35th birthday. We have a large family and the house accommodated us perfectly. The kids loved being close to the pond and the park and the game room was basically where they played our entire stay. Booking was easy and every time I had a question the property manager got back to me within minutes. Highly recommended and would stay again!

Great house, but is tired
Great location, overall size, bed count, lots of towels, garage set up for the kids. As for being tired, there are signs of wear across the entire home. Worn furniture, holes in sheets, hot tub decaying around the perimeter, pots and pans very gross, kids toys in the garage heavily worn and only partially working (air hockey), etc.

Great space for a group
There were 4 couples and 2 babies and this place was perfect! Plenty of space to cook meals and eat, a full game room in the garage, plenty of rooms and beds and a nice view out of the back porch. One thing that could be improved is the WIFI bandwidth - not great if more than one person is using it.

Super spacious house with excellent amenities. Garage turned into a play area was a big hit with kids. Fireplace table, hot tub, outdoor furniture with a beautiful water view were pretty incredible.

Great property for our family. Park, tennis court and trails nearby for all to divide up and have personalized fun. Lots of games and some fun videos for kids. We had an issue with a malfunctioning tv that Kevin addressed right away. Best part was the hot tub to relax in at the end of the day.

Great home for family gathering
This home was an excellent choice for a celebrative family gathering. The property worked great for 15 family members ranging from 3 to 70. We especially enjoyed the two large tables seating 8 each in the dining area. Property managers were very responsive to all our questions. The few little things such as someone’s shirt from a previous vacationer left in a trundle bed and patio/hot tub area not blown free of debris, no kitchen sheers to be found in the utensils, and two different communications on whether we could check in early are all minor to the overall good experience and can be chalked up to work crew adjusting to coronavirus situations and scheduling.

Great Property and Location
We had a great time on our stay! The house had a great set up for our family with its open floor plan and 2 sets of dining/bar tables right of the kitchen. 1 table for the kids and 1 for the adults! There was a nice view of the pond and golf course. We had young children with us and our favorite thing about the stay was the proximity to the park with all of its amenities. We walked and biked there almost every day!

The thermostat is pretty easy to use with an up/down for the temp, and a mode button for either heat or AC. Excellent Girl's Weekend Getaway
This property is managed by one of the local management companies, so things run pretty smoothly. Kitchen had all the tools I needed to prepare nice meals and do some baking. Internet wasn't working at first, but a call to the management company helped fix the issue quickly. Bathrooms amenities included a bar of soap, some makeup remover wipes, and a shampoo/conditioner combo - nothing luxurious, I feel a bit more thought and care could be put into this area. A separate shampoo, conditioner, plus a bar soap, body wash, and a lotion would be greatly appreciated. What is provided just seems kind of cheap, honestly. But that's a small nitpick. I really loved the house and would stay there again. I particularly loved that dog poop bags, some dog treats, a dog towel, and a protective sheet was provided for our furry friends. Nice touch there.

Christmas at Suncadia
This house overall, was perfect for our family gathering at Christmas. The spaces were great and the house is very well stocked. Ample seating for eating and relaxing by the fire. Responsive management when we had email questions before our trip. We did have 2 issues that hopefully can be corrected. The garage appears to be on 1 circuit and can only power 1 space heater. The minute the other heater, lamp or anything else was plugged in, the breaker popped. Since the garage is set up for ping pong, air hockey etc., it would have been nice to get a little warmth in there. It ran about 44 degrees for our time there. The house itself was difficult to keep at a steady heat. The fireplace/heating system either didn't work very well or wasn't explained well enough for our family of engineers to figure it out. We would love to learn the fix, as we would like to come back next year. Overall , we would highly recommend this home to large groups, we had 10 this year.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
We had a fabulous family Christmas getaway. The property had all of the amenities that we needed and wanted. The communication and response time was amazing and all the kids (and dogs) loved playing out in the snow. Enjoyed Coal Mine Lodge
This house was perfect for 12 adults. Amenities were nice, and the location very near Roslyn and the Suncadia golf course was great for our needs. Lots of walking opportunities in the area as well.

Family Retreat
The house is located in a nice setting with the patio area overlooking a pond and a golf course in the distance. The kitchen. patio, and garage (game room) were well furnished. We understood the rental included swimming pool access at Suncadia Resort but access was actually at Roslyn. It was a pleasant family retreat.

Great place for family gathering!
Three generations had a blast in this house. Game room was very popular as was Dawson Park. Great accommodations with plenty of kitchen and table space for feeding a crowd. We enjoyed a great lunch at The Lodge, and both Roslyn and Cle Elem provided interesting activities, shopping, and restaurants.

Dark of Night Alarms & Swimming Pool Access Denied
This is a lovely rental with room for many in a lovely spot. Our stay (first at Coal Mine Lodge) but nth in Suncadia was spoiled by a surprise denial of access to the swimming areas. And time at the pools is a central reason for Suncadia visits with grandchildren. Even after the visit I could not find a clear statement that we could not use the pools. And a call which indicated access to a pool several miles away generated a visit but notice of $7.50 per day per person fee. We did not know that we were not "staying with Suncadia" as all signage indicates the rental is in Suncadia. What a letdown. Further, smoke and/or CO alarms twice disturbed sleep between 3:30 and 5:30 am with repeated blasts at 5 minute and longer intervals. Clearly battery replacement did not remedy this issue.

For others reading this review, we clearly state on the ad that the home does not have access to the Suncadia Pools, nor do we charge our guests a $110/nightly resort fee to use them. This home does have access to the large pool facility at Roslyn Ridge. This is also stated in our ad along with the entrance fee which is $7.50p.p. per day. We were happy to come out and replace the battery in the smoke alarm that you stated was going off. Subsequently we never heard from you again. Perfect Place for Family Gathering
Excellent venue for large family gathering. Picturesque setting. Well appointed with plenty of family dining and gathering spaces. Bedrooms well furnished to accommodate all guests comfortably. Garage game room provides a great additional entertainment area. Outdoor fire pit and water and golf course views. Only comments for improvement (and only reason for 4 stars instead of 5): 1. Another 1/2 or full bath on main floor would be ideal for those guests who cannot negotiate stairs. 2. Larger or more space heaters for garage game area. Highly recommend this property.

Great place for a family!
