Our room was directly next to the elevator and it was a handicap room which we didn’t need. It was loud every morning with people getting on and off the elevator and one point someone’s child set off a loud alarm

Claim to be pet friendly but charged a deposit and a pet fee because I have cats vs dogs. I’m a travel nurse and have been traveling with my cats for 10 yrs. If they were going to destroy a room I would stay at a La Quinta or Ref Roof Inn, not a room that costs $125 a night. My cats are registered emotional support animals, and unless I can make them perform a trick, then they charge you. This is the second time I’ve had this issue at Holiday Inn Express and Suites. This will be the last time I book with them and will continue to book with Hilton.

Dear JenniferThe incidental hold is for every guest and that is released to you as long as there are no damages. The pet fee is regardless if you have a cat or dog. I am sorry you feel that way.

Everyone here was exceptionally nice to my daughter when she had to pull in unexpectedly during a snowstorm. Jose went out into the snow and helped her get her car into the parking lot when it was stuck. So amazing! She said it was very clean, the room was nice, and they had hot chocolate 24/7. I was very thankful for everyone there this weekend!

For starters, there were 3 people working when I checked in, 2 of which ignored me, the one who checked me in took 30 minutes. That was the start. Then, the room was dirty. the bathroom floor AND towels had pubes in them - disgusting - and there was a random sock in the room. So the housekeeping is horrible. They couldn't figure out who to add my credit card for incidentals, even though they had it on file already, so it took another 20 minutes to get a water and ginger ale. I would never stay here again. Also, WAY OVERPRICED for an unclean room and incompetent staff.

This is one of the more boring holiday inns that I have stayed in. Staff seems medium competent. It’s a pretty boring area. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you can’t get a place in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. I had booked on Expedia, and apparently somebody else booked at the exact same time that I did, over the phone, so I had to find this place in a pinch. Was pretty impressed with it.
