Everything is as stated on the website and we had a great week! The location near the Cocoa Beach Pier and VIEW is incredible. We have been staying in condos on this property for the last 10 years. We love it! It is so awesome at the rooftop is open now, and we saw a nighttime rocket launch!! Perfect place to watch it! So, for these reasons and the cleanliness, we would still give it 5 stars overall.
Left a message for property rental management and never heard back, though. The bedroom with the king bed’s bedroom set gave off a very musty scent so we could not put our clothes in there and I would recommend replacing it. I know it’s the beach in FL and this can happen. Also, would recommend have the toilet looked at since we had to hold the handle when flushing to be sure it did not run incessantly. In addition, PLEASE invest in some better waterproof mattress pads!! For a nice place such as this, no one should be sleeping on such a rustic plastic covering for a mattress pad- they are awful, noisy, and hot! Please replace a few things for future guests. We know the rate was less than other units in the building, and for that we are grateful. We would happily stay again if the bedroom set and mattress pads were replaced. It would also be great if you changed the door to a code lock mechanism so there would be no need to swing by the rental property/realtor office and deal with the keys.
