"Welcoming staff at check-in. Accommodation is in a great location with a lovely outdoor seating area. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, warm, comfortable and clean. Just two things to note, the en-suite needs a blind over the window for privacy from outdoor guests using the seating area, and the shower cubicle has mildew on the grout and tiles, which is rather off putting when stepping in to use! However, a very enjoyable stay and would use again. "

"A modern and comfortable hotel with a lovely breakfast included in the price. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Telford and is set in lovely grounds. I haven’t rated it 5*s as the check in was slow due to there only being on member of staff on at reception, the pool being cold and us not getting bottles of water in our room for the first night but getting them for the second. "

Only when attempting my check-in did I discover from a sign outside the previous reception area that check-in must now be carried out at the associated pub/restaurant opposite. "Having read some of the other reviews regarding noise at the end of the day you’re staying at the pub what should you expect? I stayed in the cow room. Every time somebody use a hand dryer in the toilet downstairs, you heard it The other thing to bear in mind is our situated on a main road, so of course you’re gonna hear traffic noise They do only have three rooms here, but the service they give you a 2nd to none Dan was very professional in her, greeted me up on my arrival and throughout my stay and experience And you even get a free breakfast which is well worth it as a breakfast is absolutely lovely and cooked fresh The only thing I found a little annoying for myself was the fact I had no desk in the room to do any work from but other than that would definitely go back"

"The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, I think they had just be refurbished. There was a little noise from the pub beer garden but it wasn't bad and didn't last too late, we tend to go to bed early and didn't keep us awake. There was an Infra Red Sauna in our room, never seen that before in a hotel room which was great, clean and free to use. Outside there is a small free parking area belomnging to the hotel. There is a larger council car park immediately next to it which only costs £3 per day, free after 6 and Sundays so well done to the council for not screwing the motorist! We can highly recommend this hotel for it's convenience being right in the centre of Ellesmere. We didn't go into the bar so can't comment on that."
