“We had a lovely, short stay at Finca Barlovento. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is restful and the overall feeling is very private and low-key, with a high level of service.
The staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Food offerings are good, though somewhat limited, but we were only there for a couple of days so this was not really an issue. “I reserved the basic cabin. On Exepdia there are no pictures that show that the basic cabin is about 10 x 10 feet and that the only article in the room is a matrass on the floor. It also does not state that the toilet and shower are about 100 feet away from the cabin and that there is not even a path to get to them. You have to walk over grass that becomes extremely soggy when wet. There is only wifi in the restaurant and no electrical outlets in the cabin. I just want to state that the info……

“Rooms were clean, but a lot of the included equipment like the water equipment (kayaks/paddle boat), large swing, two restaurants were ‘not working.’ Which was a reason we chose this location. The food was excellent, but service slow. The all inclusive breakfast changed locations without notice to the guests-
The airport transportation was coordinated ahead of time and when we landed after an early flight, the driver informed us he would be an hour late. Many small/medium inconveniences but……

“What an amazing experience from the get go, Cesar met me at the dock and led the way to this beautiful secret piece of heaven Satori , it was perfect , so peaceful, my cabin was perfect clean , towel and mosquito net (although I was not bothered by any) I enjoyed the breakfast and my coffee in the morning. Cesar is just amazing felt like a good friend! His hospitality is so kind, welcoming and warm and nothing is too much to ask, he will help with anything! I’ve been introduced to delicious……
