“We had a lovely, short stay at Finca Barlovento. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is restful and the overall feeling is very private and low-key, with a high level of service. The staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Food offerings are good, though somewhat limited, but we were only there for a couple of days so this was not really an issue. “Rooms were clean, but a lot of the included equipment like the water equipment (kayaks/paddle boat), large swing, two restaurants were ‘not working.’ Which was a reason we chose this location. The food was excellent, but service slow. The all inclusive breakfast changed locations without notice to the guests- The airport transportation was coordinated ahead of time and when we landed after an early flight, the driver informed us he would be an hour late. Many small/medium inconveniences but……
