Our type of place
If you enjoy being away from the busyness of the city, this is the place for you. Well kept, quiet and cozy, with great surroundings! The creek sounds are tranquil. Our young teen children loved playing outside and exploring. Close enough to activities in Colorado Springs and manitou springs! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

Sister stay
We loved the location of the home. Clean towels, clean sheets were great. Needed some cob web work however. The worst was the condition of the patio/deck. We know there had been some bad weather but the patio needed to be cleaned there were leaves and trash in the corners that had been there for awhile. Attention to detail needed. Thank you.

Cozy Cabin with Lots of Stuff
Overall, out stay was great! We enjoyed exploring local towns and relaxing in the cabin. The layout and features throughout the cabin provided a warm and cozy experience. Our only complaint is the cabin felt a little cluttered with the amount of stuff (presumably owner's) throughout the space. This was not a big deal and did not interfere with us enjoying our trip.

Perfect get-away with family to kick-off ‘24!
We wanted a quick stay in the mountains that was close to Denver so we could hike, cook, play games and watch bowl games with our adult son, his girlfriend and dog over New Year’s. The house was perfect- kitchen well equipped, TV very large with great wifi for streaming and fireplace so easy to use & put out more heat than expected! We loved walking to town for a breakfast at The Pantry & hiking on multiple local trails and in Garden of the Gods. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful and very comfy home
We stayed a well in this home and it was perfect for my family. We saw deer right in the front yard and the creek out back was so nice. Big patio and location was perfect. Right outside of Colorado Springs with tons to do in the area and not too close to the city. Hosts were very quick to reply with any questions we had. We definitely need to try this location during the summer as well. Thank you very much for a great stay!!!

Great getaway
Stayed here around Thanksgiving just to relax. We were used to the weather but we did get out and did some exploring. The house had everything and more of what we needed. I would love to come back again

Wonderful setting
The setting for the property is wonderful. 5 adults (1 couple and 3 single) stayed here for a full week and enjoyed the setting and area greatly. Pros: As mentioned above, the setting is great. Very relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the brook and watch for deer. Some of us took several hikes in the area. Had much fun. The house is very homey and inviting. Lots of amenities. Cons: The property is listed as 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8. The property should be listed as 3 bedrooms and a loft. The loft and it's pull-out bed is probably fine for kids, but not for an adult. Pull-out bed needs to be replaced - VERY uncomfortable for an adult. Loft doesn't have much privacy either. I doubt that 8 adults could sleep here comfortably. (minor issue) The place was clean, but could use a deep cleaning. Overall, we liked the place and setting (many things to do in the area). We didn't care for the loft as a bedroom for an adult and it's poor bed.

Great location
The cabin is quite comfortable and perfect for a group of 7-8. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The location can't be beat as it was so convenient to so many things to see and do. Wildlife visited everyday. Coffee on the deck by the creek each morning was a great way to start the day. We're ready to go back!

Great place!
The house had comfortable beds, lots of extra linens, a great porch, and extra amenities to get us by if we had forgotten anything (condiments, soap, shampoo, etc.). The check out process was by far the easiest I’ve ever experienced…basically pile up your towels and that’s it! We also enjoyed the little restaurants in town; The Pantry had great breakfast!
