Large, clean rooms. Quiet. Breakfast better than another hotel I stayed in on the same trip, but not anything to get excited about. Location requires some detouring to get to depending on where you're coming from. Good for a short stay.

We found access from the main street to the hotel difficult to find especially at night. Also, when booking the hotel through Expedia web site it was written to check in by midnight or we would have to wait until morning. We found this information was incorrect upon arrival to the hotel; because of this , we had to leave the wedding reception early based on the information. Overall we found the hotel good - excellent breakfast, excellent staff to deal with and clean facility.

Personnel working there are awesome. They compensated me when I had to wait for my dinner and also restaurant waitress offered to prepare a sandwich when because I didn't have time I went there at 6:15am to get a fruit. Quite lovely. In another visit 2 months ago I forgot my charger and they had it for me this time. By far this is the best Diego De Almagro.

Me gustaron las instalaciones, la habitación muy cómoda y bien equipada. Lástima que no esta habilitado el gimnasio y que el horario de la piscina no inicia desde las 7 a.m. Los huevos revueltos necesitan mayor cocción, estaban bastante crudos.

Hotel cumple con expectativas, camas comodas aunque almohadas muy dura o muy blandas, falto una cafetera de cortesia en las habitaciones. Algo que no deja de ser importante es la accesibilidad del hotel por auto, si vienes del aeropuerto tienes que pasar de largo por el hotel y recorrer varios kilometros a una rotonda no tan bien señalizada, ojo con esto, no es culpa del hotel pero a tomar en cuenta

Mi estadía fue corta pero hice uso de casi todos los servicios (me faltó la piscina que alguna vez usé). La relación precio/calidad es adecuada no sobresaliente. Elijo el hotel por estar en un área de la ciudad más tranquila, el personal de recepción fue servicial y amable, me facilitaron todo lo que pedí. La habitación es cómoda con buena calefacción y facilidades. La comida es cara y el servicio lento pero solicité el servicio a la habitación y fue perfecto.

La mejor alternativa precio calidad, lejos.
Por temas familiares, la semana anterior debí alojar cinco noches en Concepción, de las cuales estuve cuatro en este Diego de Almagro (1°, 2°, 4° y 5°), con una muy buena experiencia, por eso regresé y de hecho puse muchas fichas en el comentario anterior de uno de esos días. La “quinta” noche la hice en otro hotel (céntrico), del cual no vale la pena hablar, pero fui muy descriptivo en sus falencias, según comentario dejado en hoteles.com. Del Diego de Almagro, debo rectificar eso sí, porque hable maravillas de un plato del restaurant: “plateada con mote cremoso”, el cual volví a pedir el último día de estadía y fue un fiasco. Mal ahí porque el hotel debe mantener medidas de contingencia en caso de que no esté el chef titular (ya que no hallo otra explicación), de hecho debí devolver ese plato (no lo hice), la carne dura y el risotto de mote malo de punto y sazón, el mote debe ir al dente, no las verduras... definitivamente mal ahí. Como hotel excelente como dije en mi comentario anterior, bajo el estilo DA, excelente estadía y excelente atención. Por Hoteles.com se reserva y luego pagas la totalidad, más el iva en el hotel. El valor depende del dólar eso si.

Un excelente hotel
En general una excelente experiencia, el hotel cumple con su sello, ya que son todos iguales, claro que este es muy nuevo y es mejor que otros. Posee ropa de cama premium, y un baño espacioso y agradable, al cual solo mejoraría la ducha, por una de lluvia. Todo lo demás excelente. El personal en general atento, y de buena disposición. El desayuno es variado y abundante, aunque algunas cosas se re abastecen poco, tampoco pedí nada. Cené una noche, con una muy buena experiencia para mi, y otra regular para mi señora. La plateada con mote cremoso, de los mejores platos que he probado, mi señora reineta con risotto al limón, regular. En general lo recomiendo al 100%, el único inconveniente es el mal acceso del hotel, pero con la calidad que tiene, te aseguro que no te arrepentirás.

Standard deficiente del hotel
El desayuno muy básico, con jugos artificiales. La cena buffet muy cara para la calidad, poca variedad. El personal de recepción y camareras muy amable. Sin embargo aseo en escalera de escape deficiente, temperatura del agua caliente baja, imposible darse un baño a esa temperatura. No habia tapón de baño, el personal de recepción llevó uno. Gotera en pasillo frente a habitación 220, debido a lluvia débil.
