I did not like that i stayed here fir one night i was charged for 3. The money was never put into my account for over a week. I had no help what so ever from management. I would not recommend this hotel

Nice convenient location in quaint town
Reasonable priced, clean room on the main street of Clonakilty. Late night first floor bar traffic on our Friday night stay required closing window/curtains for sleeping only drawback as we are fresh air fiends. Nice full breakfast buffet.

Nice central hotel
The Clonakilty Hotel is a very centrally located hotel, stepping right out onto one of Clonakiltys main streets. The ladies on reception were great to deal with, informative and straightforward. Our room was spacious enough, with a shower/tub combination in the bathroom. A little outdated with very high shower hose (my friend could not reach to adjust) and no option to lower it. Rust around the tub plug - didnt bother me but I could see it being offputting for folk expecting high standards. One double and one single bed in the room - the mattresses were smaller than the bed support which led to a peculiar look / easy to misjudge when getting into bed. Breakfast was ok, selection of fruit/juice/cereal/pastries with the option to order a hot meal from the kitchen. I ordered poached eggs on toast which came two poached eggs on one thin slice of toast with all crusts cut off - wasnt very filling as a result so had a croissant and OJ from breakfast bar. Overall a comfortable stay, good location but outdated in many areas for a 4* rating. Parking also was confusing, very little on street and seems to have two car parks around but one says Townhouse parking only and the other says Apartment parking only so not clear if ok for hotel patrons. We got a space on the street in the end so didnt query. Slept very well, beds were super comfortable!

This was an amazing hotel. It might look quite normal from the ourside but it is a little gem inside. The room was very spacious and best of all, very quiet in the motning!

The hotel was vintage . Decor could have been a little more. No AC but they gave us a fan to use. Continental was included. It was decent. The restaurant was not great. Understaffed and the waitress was not knowledgeable about menu. Great little town.

Lovely hotel.

Comfortable and convenient overnight stay
The hotel was excellently placed to walk and get an evening meal having parked the car safely. Everyone was kind and helpful. Exactly what we needed for an overnight stop on our travels. Our only disappointment was that the Michael Collins exhibition wasn’t open until mid June, and that wasn’t their fault!

Missed the hotel on my first journey through the town and ended up in the similarly named Clonakilty Park Hotel. Drove back through the town again, hotel car park was closed on arrival. Parked up the road. No iron or iron board in room. Phoned reception four times but no answer.

Weekend Away in Clonakilty
The staff on reception and in the bar and breakfast room were all very friendly and helpful. The lounge area is very welcoming and nice to relax in with a drink. The location is perfect, right in the centre of town.

Lovely stay, very friendly staff,m clean, quite, comfortable hotel. Decor a little tired in the bathroom but this did not affect me greatly. Breakfast was to order which I always prefer and was delicious. The hotel is well located in the town of Clonakilty with free parking outside the door. I will definitely return.

We arrived very late, checking in at about 9pm but the staff were very understanding and nice about this! We were in Clonakilty for a gig, which was right around the corner but we didn't get back until about 1am but despite this, the man working there was extremely friendly, asked us would we like to order a drink and made us feel right at home, asking how the gig was etc! The breakfast the next morning was delicious - french toast, full irish breakfasts and really lovely 'homey' comforts. I'd really recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again.

Adequate. Nothing special but does the job.
Typical 3 star hotel. Nothing fancy but grand to put your head down. Breakfast finishing at 10am on a Sunday is crazy though. We missed it as we'd only gotten in from a wedding at 3am. So that makes it worse value than we thought it was initially.
