The room was very clean, but the main room had rather dated furniture, and both the phone charger sockets were broken. If it weren't for those things I'd have rated it higher :)

The free breakfast was bland and tasteless. The TV in the room kept playing weather warnings for North Texas, the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This interrupted normal programming BOTH days! Why are weather alerts for an area hundreds of miles from Corpus Christi playing where they DON'T need to be?! This was bizarre.

We rented two rooms for the family. One was correct. The second room we did not receive the style of room we paid extra for (2queen suite w/sofa) which left us sleeping on one cot instead of two sleeping on a sofa bed that we paid adt’l money for. Nancy was extremely rude about the whole room situation. Acting as if it was our fault for asking if our rooms could be on the same floor and that she did us a favor by putting us close together. But never mentioned that it was not the rooms we paid for and we needed for sleep space for teenage grandchildren. Nancy said that I still got a good deal on the room for booking early and if I had booked that day(spring break) it would be twice that amount. :( Everything went well, breakfast was good. Room appeared clean. We left early and on the way home we all started itching and realized we were covered in welped up bites 20-30 each person. Got back home and went to doctor to make sure it wasn’t an illness. and was told it defiantly looked like bed Bug bites. We called the hotel as a courtesy, And was questioned as to why we waited a day to call them.ancting as if we were not being honest. Again it’s our fault as opposed to customer service. They said someone would call us right back. no one has done so. Hindsight: Another room down the hall had all of the furniture outside in the hall covered with plastic. (Now presuming to be a bed bug issue. We originally just thought renovations. And covered to keep kids from climbing on it.

Everything was good until i was woken up in the middle of the night with disturbance from the next room. The walls are too thin and you can hear all the action going on. Other than that it was all good.

Beds are comfortable and clean the room just needed a little update and breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast. I would stay again the bed is what sold me very comfortable.

I think the location of the hotel is great and the amenities are nice. The only thing that was a little odd was the size of the pillows on the beds. They were not the standard size pillows, rather they looked like throw pillows. The mini fridge in the room was also rather noisy during our stay and that annoyed my husband, but I slept through it.

I will say we should think before booking the hotel. They are not transparent on their communication. My kid got injured in beach so we need to leave early without completing my stay. Hotel told as I booked from Expedia they will not be able to do any refunds only Expedia have that option. Now I connected Expedia and Expedia is not able to do any refund as hotel do not allow.
