We rented two rooms for the family. One was correct. The second room we did not receive the style of room we paid extra for (2queen suite w/sofa) which left us sleeping on one cot instead of two sleeping on a sofa bed that we paid adt’l money for. Nancy was extremely rude about the whole room situation. Acting as if it was our fault for asking if our rooms could be on the same floor and that she did us a favor by putting us close together. But never mentioned that it was not the rooms we paid for and we needed for sleep space for teenage grandchildren. Nancy said that I still got a good deal on the room for booking early and if I had booked that day(spring break) it would be twice that amount. :(
Everything went well, breakfast was good. Room appeared clean. We left early and on the way home we all started itching and realized we were covered in welped up bites 20-30 each person. Got back home and went to doctor to make sure it wasn’t an illness. and was told it defiantly looked like bed Bug bites. We called the hotel as a courtesy, And was questioned as to why we waited a day to call them.ancting as if we were not being honest. Again it’s our fault as opposed to customer service. They said someone would call us right back. no one has done so. Hindsight: Another room down the hall had all of the furniture outside in the hall covered with plastic. (Now presuming to be a bed bug issue. We originally just thought renovations. And covered to keep kids from climbing on it.
