We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. Big enough for a family with multiple kids. Our only 2 cons were we found 2 big water roaches downstairs in the living area & there was only 1 TV.

Very private, i wish the mosquitoes wouldnt have been so bad to spend time outside. Nice yard. Top part was not as cool as we would have like it to have been. Will definitely be back.

Awesome Getaway!
Coastal cottage is super cute, very comfortable, located in a very quiet neighborhood, and water just a few blocks away! We saw dolphins while eating breakfast at a local restaurant. We went kayaking to Lydia Ann Lighhouse Trails. It was an absolutely amazing stay. Host was very helpful. We will be back!

Friends Reunion
This was a great place, location and exactly what we needed for our trip. We grilled one night, fished at nearby spots a few days and had some great bites at local restaurants.

Ugh
Don’t believe the flowery description. Interior clean but has odor. Right off a major street. Exterior is beyond description, in need of major repairs and paint. Old housing trying to look like new resort. Sadly it’s not.

Melissa is very pleasant and easy to work with. Had a few glitches she ironed out immediately. Property was advertised well. Does have upstairs bedrooms one of which gets the morning sun rise which we loved. Close to Dollar General and H.E.B. Restaurants within walking distance. Good wi-fi. Enjoyed our month.

this house was close to everything. Could walk to restaurants and grocery store if you wanted. Easy drive to Rockport and the ferry.

This place was so perfect for our family of 5! We like things a bit quieter and slower paced so staying here was so peaceful. The house is adorable, clean and so comfortable! The property manager Melissa is so helpful and gets back to you quickly. We can't wait to stay here again!

Weekend fishing trip
OK, you're talking three guys that are going to be fishing all day and only need a place to clean up and a good night's rest. We were pleasantly surprised to find the property well kept and well stocked with necessities. There was a nice picnic table in back that provided shade for us to re-rig for the second day of fishing. We found the property very convenient to groceries, restaurants and a very nice public boat launch. Our only complaint is that the single bed in the living room has some kind of rubber padding and whenever the person sleeping on it turned over it made an awful sound that woke up the other person sleeping in the room. The bedroom with the Queen bed was excellent. We had always used Port Aransas for our base of operations for offshore fishing, but that little fishing town has gotten so expensive! Aransas Pass is our new home.

Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover
The inside has been remodeled and is very cozy. Minor issues keep it from 5 stars. Parking being the main issue but that is just me. I was able to unhook 21 foot boat in drive but it does take some skill to get it there. So if parking on street does not bother you, then non issue. Great owner/manager.

Andrew, thank you for your feedback. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the newly remodeled home and found it cozy. I do acknowledge parking a larger size boat in the driveway may not be ideal. I hope to soon provide better parking accommodations for larger boats in near future.

Nice place
Place is well kept, nice appliances, and there are plenty of kitchen items. Silverware, regular and plastic, plates, bowels etc.Has a small back yard, with some privacy. The place is a good size for a single, a couple or a couple with a small child. In a great spot, just 20 minutes north of Corpus Christi, and 20 minutes south of the Rockport/Fullton area. Both areas provide interesting things to do and see. I would rent this place again.

Great Stay! Very nice place.
A couple of budies and I stayed here recently on a fishing trip. Although we didnt spend a whole of time int the home, it was everything I could have hoped for. Very clean and comfy. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Nothing is better then coming home from a long day of fishing and being able to take a hot shower, enjoy the cold AC, and watch football on a big screen TV. The house comfortably slept four grown men. Alot of great space in the living room for air matresses to help sleep more than that. I will be staying here again on my next fishing trip. I highly recommend this place for small family get a ways. The location is great. Very close to food, HEB, and only 8 miles from Port A. And very close to all the hot fishing spots.

The place was very clean and quiet and our stay was nice. I was very surprised to see how big and roomy this little house was. The kitchen had all the cookware you would possibly need. A big plus was that there was a full size coffee maker with coffee and creamer. We absolutely loved the big screen TV in the living room. This place felt very homey and comfortable. There was no covered patio or a place to really lounge outside but after being in the sun fishing and crabbing all day we had no interest in being outside. We just wanted a place with great a/c and plenty of room to stretch our legs. And this place was absolutely perfect for us The owner Melissa was great in responding quickly and answering any questions I had. We go into Rockport and surrounding area a couple of times a year. We will definitely be staying there again.

So close to being better
Sometimes the little things that can be fixed so easily can make or break you. Let's start with the great things. The ac works great! There is lots of room! The neighborhood is quite! The unit is sparkling clean. The unit is decorated nicely and the water heater works great. Here are somethings that can easily be fixed to make this property better. In the listing it shows to accomadate 5. If it says it will accomadate 5 then there should be sleeping for 5. The "1 sleep sofa" in the listing is misleading. It is not a pull out sleeper sofa but a place one person could sleep on. We paid extra for having five people to find out when we arrived there was a queen size bed, a squeaky twin bed and a sofa. Put an air mattress in the closet if you are going to list it sleeps 5. In the kitchen it is a miss match of dishes. Not one plate to eat on! Go buy 6 plates! No soap to wash your hands in the bathroom the empty container looks nice on the counter. And some extra bath towels would be great. There were 4 on the shelf in the bathroom with 3 wash rags. I did find a old towel in the closet to make 5.Five people could use more than 5 bath towels if you want to wash your hair. We made our stay work and if these small things could be fixed I would give the property a 4 star rating.

Comfy and Very Responsive Owner
My family and I had a wonderful stay here! The TV was BIG and the Bed was very Comfy! There are a lot of convenient restaurants around and the ferry to Port A was super close. I do have some critiques and information that would have been helpful for me to plan our trip 1. There is not very much dish-wear there, zero plates, mostly bowls and cups. Only one sharp knife for cutting meat. 2. The door lock and unlock is confusing and didn't work most of the time we were there. In fact the place was unlocked when we arrived, Melissa was very quick to respond when I was trying to lock up. We ended up taking most of our valuables with us to the beach and leaving it unlocked. 3. BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY there were a TON of mosquitos, they were basically swarming at the driveway where you park your car and also the front door, trying to get in constantly. 4. The area in photo with the dock and yellow lab is no where to be seen. I'm not sure why that image is in the photos, everything else is very true and beautiful.

Hello Sara, Thank you for your feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I appreciate the feedback from guests like you as it helps me improve future stays for guests. I will do another dish count to ensure it is restocked. The cleaning ladies failed to lock the property prior to your stay. I will speak to them about this and ensure it is setup correctly. And I will provide better instructions in the app for the lock. Unfortunately this is the high season in the area for mosquitoes. I do have a professional company spray the property frequently but yes best to bring mosquito sprays and lotions as I don’t think there is anything more I can provide to help this. Good thing the season only lasts a few weeks. The area in photo with the dock and yellow lab is the historic Aransas Pass light house in which can be toured during a day kayaking or boat trip. Again thanks for your feedback and I wish you safe travels!

Clean cozy home in central location with quiet neighborhood
The entire stay from arrival to end was smooth and enjoyable. House was clean and cozy with plenty of room for our group of four. Kitchen was stocked with all amenities including pans and utensils (even if we didn't utilize them) and a coffee maker with coffee included. Towels and linens were soft and smelled fresh and there was even Amazon Prime video and WIFI available to occupy the teen. The owner (Mellissa) was friendly and prompt when we had questions as well. Would highly recommend. Also there was a covered area for a boat (even if we are not lucky enough to own one) for anyone interested in that.
