Convenient location to the center and to the train station. A lot of med priced stores around. The property has very helpful, knowledgeable, processional and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet had good variety. The restaurant is way overpriced for dinner, not worse it.

The hotel is right off Corso Buenos Aires shopping area, this location is really hard to beat. Close to the public transport. An excellent breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel also has its own parking which is very convenient in a city like Milan.

Terrible hotel with amazing staff
The hotel is in no way near a 4 star hotel, the rooms was just there and my bathroom had a smell from the drainage or so I had to bare that for 3 whole nights, the breakfast was so horrible and worse off cold had to seek a refund (2days) The only plus side was there was a nice restaurant on the street, the metro was just a few blocks away and Duomo was just 3 stops from the station close to the hotel (Lima) and last the staff were amazing very helpful and nice. I wish I could recommend this hotel becos of them but sadly I can’t I would try somewhere else during my next visit hopefully.

Decent hotel in decent area
Stayed at the starhotel Ritz for 3nights. Room was good size, comfortable bed. Bathroom good size, good water supply and toiletries available. Only issue in bathroom was the bath plug wouldn't close so when having bath had to press foot on it. Towels are great size and of decent material!! Which is a bonus. Our room faced the back of hotel we were in 530. In room no room to open wardrobe fully as bedside table took up room, no plugs at bedside to charge phone. No extra milks given after used the 2 that were there and very limited English programmes on TV. Spacious reception area. Breakfast area nicely displayed. We thought there was plenty choice but we're not fussy eaters! Downfall was the coffee and hot water were luke warm. You can get cappuccino or espresso from bar staff at breakfast. Staff very pleasant. Also no info on area in room. Hotel is in easy reach of metro at PT Venezia I can buy tickets that do train, metro and tram there. They do 1 journey €2.20, daily use (24hrs) €7, 3 days or weekly. You can get the number 5 or 33 tram to the train station which is just up past the metro station. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again if returning to Milan.

Sadly, not great...
The hotel is in a good position to get round the city. We moved rooms (after upgrading) as we had the heater from the sauna going off/on every 10 minuted behind our bed (very noisy), only to be moved to another room directly under the boiler stacks (even noisier!!). Breakfast was a shocker, so much so, we didnt even stay to eat. The reception staff were vere nice, just a shame for them that they're dealing with problems beyond their control. This place needs a revamp asap!

Our stay at Starhotels Ritz was good. The hotel is very nice and our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located approximately 10/15min walk from the train/bus station, which is handy. It is also approximately a 25 minute walk to the Duomo cathedral and Galleria. We were on the first floor and our room overlooked the dining area outside, despite the close proximity it was pretty quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

No outlets to charge your phones on both bed sides , no exhaust fan in the bathroom, the enlargement mirror placed in a wrong way and the protection glass to the tub doesn’t stop water seepage to bathroom floor. Really nice room. We got upgraded to a suite which was a nice gesture. The outdoor eating area was a lovely space and imagine hard to come by given the hotel's location.

Friendly staff, clean room, great stay!
Stayed here for 4-nights and loved it! Close to the Porta Venezia metro and walking distance from Milano Centrale so it was very convenient for me. Room was small, but very nice and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Got to Milan early and thought I’d have to wait to check-in, but was able to get my room by 9:30. Loved the view from my room and hearing the church bell. The area seemed fine to me too. I would stay here again!

absolutely disappointing. cabinetry was worn out- desk was splintering at the edges, wall skirting had detached, mould was growing in the corners of the bathtub walls. we were supposed to have received a complimentary bottle of wine, but we received a bottle of water instead.

Be advised that this establishment as a "THEFT Hotel" given the cash stolen from our luggage by staff who knowingly entered our room despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Upon reporting to the hotel desk, no action and/or responsibility was taken by the hotel management; the only access to our room was their staff. Instead, the hotel desk/management retorted with deflective comments to disassociate all responsibility and that a police report must be generated in order for any action to occur by the hotel. The security and well-being of guests and their belongings should be of utmost importance....the Starshotel Ritz Milan has undoubtedly FAILED. No future stays....ever!

Hotel is located on a very convenient location. Close to a lot of stores, restaurants and transportation. The room was super nice and the bed was super comfy too. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Always a pleasure staying at any of the Starhotels, you can always guarantee a great welcome and service. This is one of the many reasons I prefer to use Starhotels when I travel to Italy wherever possible. One complaint if you can call it a complaint is that the pillows are to soft. But this is just a personal preference.

Nice hotel off the main shopping street. Convenient to the metro and in a nice area. Staff is very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.

A mediocre choice with below average service
I had very fond memories of Milan hospitality and this time I am disappointed. The check-in took like 10 minutes long when the receptionist handled things in a super slack manner and let me standing there while chatting with her colleges . The luggage staff were indifferent to me and the most uncomfortable part is the room itself . A so-called full bed that is indeed two single beds being pushed together . The bathroom was designed in a very awkward way and I had no idea how to manage the tiny space for the shower ( I am 163 and very thin) . Overall , given that it is a four star hotel in a good location , I won’t say it is bad, yet I don’t recommend it to my friends and family.
