"Rough night with fire alarm going off then power went out from 12:30 am until 5:30 am on on one of the coldest nights! Pretty sure others will give a bad review but these are unavoidable issues and the hotel did what they could. Breakfast was still served and I got on my way at 6:30 am to start my day! PS shower was hot too!!"

"We had a great experience at the Hyatt Place Blacksburg. The room was very nice because it had a separate sitting area which was good for having visitors. The hotel is conveniently located and has lots of walkable options. The breakfast was very yummy and had lots of options, including french toast!! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back."

"The room was clean, shower was well pressurized (occasionally took a minute to heat up, but soon enough I was preparing for the fires of hell), and the breakfast included eggs and sausage with fresh fruits, cereal and a waffle maker. The cleaning staff was efficient, and the front desk was very helpful. Plenty of storage space. Mattress clean, drawers clean. 3 minute drive to a cute cafe on the way to the mountains- 2/3 triple crown trail heads were 7-10 mins away. Roanoke downtown was about 18 mins away. I don’t travel a lot so I just look for a clean room and basic amenities. "
