“A beautiful, well maintained cabin with all the amenities. We spent the weekend there to attend an alumni event. It was a convenient location. The host was great and left a few special touches for us. The landscape surrounding the cabin was breathtaking. Definitely we would rent again. Thank You for experience.”

“Our stay on Craig Creek was wonderful! The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. Mitch reported the outage for us and called us when the power was restored to ensure everything was ok. The porch bedroom was amazing as well! It was so nice to wake up with the creek and mountain view directly in front of you and we could see the stars at...

“A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!”

“We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you.”

“We stayed at the cabin so that we could travel to the Greenbrier and they definitely almost stole the show! Grey views, very private, and well maintained. We were very excited to see snacks and coffee pods available but didn't get a chance to use the s'mores because of the weather but what a nice touch. The only downside is getting there but it's a mountain cabin so we expected the drive to be a little rough so don't let that deture you! It's well worth going and we plan on staying again!”

“The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed plus extras (firepit, kayak, canoe). Owner was very responsive and helpful. The creek behind the house was pristine and would make this a great spot in the summer. It's is at the end of a long drive and we were surprised by how many other houses were along the the way but the whole area was very quiet so it felt like we were the only ones there.”

The o my thing I would add to the space would be a little outdoor dining table! It is difficult to want to come I side when there is all of that beauty on the back porch.”

“A group of retired couples stayed at River's Bend for New Year's weekend. We never left the place and had a fantastic time. Kitchen was well stocked, game room offered ping pong and pool, hiking right from property. The owner even took the trouble of getting 3 kayaks out of winter storage so that we could kayak on an unusually warm New Year's eve day! She was fantastic :)”

“This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! The property is so beautiful and private. We were there for my daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. I only wish we had a little more time to relax by the firepit and enjoy the soothing sounds of the stream that runs along the property.”

“Rented this unit for some employees. I misunderstood what two of them was telling me when they said their wives would be in next job. The wives showed up here and I had not disclosed them. The host was undstanding and let them go ahead and spend the night. I would have completely understood if she would have been upset. But after I apologized and explained she was forgiving. Place is well maintained and you can tell they put alot of time and energy into keeping it up.”
