"This is a really large and spacious property, which is done up to high standards. The walk to the beach and the costal path is short and nice. We had a fantastic stay, despite variable weather. We had some nice BBQs outside, the garden could be a little more atmospheric."

"Beautiful! Great facilities, especially suited for families with older children. Open stairs not good for very young children I'd say. Centrally located and benefiting from being close by to lots of cafes, restaurants, pubs etc but also a very quiet end of town next to the river. Lovely walk to the wildlife centre and Poppit Sands is a 10 minute drive. The best beach ever for soft buttery sand and no rocks or stones. We enjoyed a lovely swim here. "I would like to say what a lovely couple Jane and Martin are however, we felt mislead by the photographs advertising this holiday. The photos bear no resemblance to the current state of the site which is totally overgrown, this has happened over a number of years and not just a summer growth spurt. We chose this site for our dogs, we were promised a private paddock that was fenced off, the paddock was so overgrown, we couldn't even walk in it and the grass was twice as tall as our dogs who...

"The property was fine but the garden was inaccessible to us being very steep we couldn't let our dog off as it didn't look secure or even take it down on a lead as we didn't want to attempt to get down there. Also the balcony being open at one end to the front was not secure to let dog out there offlead. As it rained every day we were not able to use it much but had to keep dog on a lead. I think this should be mentioned in the description."

"Check in was flawless and quick. We were asked to choose our breakfast for the next morning and a time. I think this is a great process as it prevents waste. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was ready very quickly and cooked to perfection. Very spacious lounge available for guests. Room was very good. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night before a ferry to Ireland. We would definitely stay again and for a few days. "
