Great River Retreat
Had a beautiful stay with our family and friends on the river! Home is very spacious and has lots of extras. Host was extremely accommodating and very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone!

Perfect spot in CR
The house was spotless, comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and there were several boat ramps just a few miles from the house. We took our pontoon with no problems. The host was easy to communicate with. We loved our stay in Crystal River!

Weekend getaway
My mother, husband, and I met my daughter and best friend for a couple day getaway. The weather was beautiful; the kayaks were refreshing. We were able to sit around the huge dining table and eat and play games. We visited, we laughed, we ate! Just what we all needed. The deck was peaceful as we sat and watched the water. The house is well proportioned with room for everyone. My adult daughter thoroughly enjoyed the jetted tub. We didn’t try out the steam shower. Easy check in and out. The kitchen was fully equpped. The knives were amazing. Donna has thought of all the little things that make a house a home away from home.

Centrally located to manatees
Fantastic-centrally located to manatees. My husband & I discussed coming back and staying 2 extra days to do some kayaking, biking, or hiking. A 2 day stay was too short. The property comes with 5 or 6 kayaks and the canal is right there. Wonderful place to hang out with friends-lots of room.

Beautiful oasis
We came to visit the manatees and this place was perfect! The boat ramp is just across the water and the boat dock is perfect for bringing your own watercraft. Three Sister’s Springs is a short boat ride away. We enjoyed the kayaks also. The house was clean and spacious. The kids loved the gaming table most of all. We have already booked again for next year.

As advertised, clean and roomy
7 of us and 2 dogs stayed for 1 week. Donna was a gracious and communicative host and responded in a timely manner to all questions and accommodated some special requests. The property was clean and in very good condition. It was spacious enough for all 7 of us and we found it to be comfortable and well appointed. The beds were pretty comfortable, HVAC worked well, plenty of ceiling fans, linens and kitchen supplies. We used the kayaks to do some paddling and saw many manatees out in Kings Bay. Nice sized gas grill worked perfectly. The property borders a somewhat busy but low speed road so it isn't quiet but it wasn't too loud either. It is also conveniently located to services and attractions as well as the direct water access to the bay. We would recommend this property to others looking to stay in Crystal River at a reasonable price. Thanks Donna!

Great House for a family
We loved the house and the location. We had the slightest issue with getting the door open because the code wasn't right. But, the property manager handled it quickly. A little bit of an incorrect description...they living room couch does not pull out, so that needs to be updated. But, nothing major. Neither of these issues would keep me from rating it less than 5 stars. I'd stay there again for sure!

Manatee get away
The house was wonderful! The pictures on line are very accurate. Loved our short but fun stay. Short drive to grocery store and any other last minute items you might have forgot. Love to go back again. Donna is very responsive, had a minor issue during our stay and she took care of it the very next morning.

This was the perfect property for a large family gathering of adults and children who like being on the water, and playing games together. The home has an open design that supported that. Access to the canal made it easy to get to areas where we could view and interact with manatees, and good fishing at night off the dock was an added bonus.

A Great Stay
Great proximity to local springs. Loved having kayaks on site. Gorgeous sunsets on the water. House was pretty, clean and comfortable. Next to a somewhat noisy street but didn't really bother us. Beds were too firm for me, but that's personal taste. Dock railings were a little wobbly and would worry me if I had littles with me. We were all adults and loved the docks and quick access to the water. Many manatee sightings without having to get into the water. Seemed like a good fishing spot. Many good places to eat nearby and local shopping to pick up whatever you need.

Thanksgiving retreat
We went on thanksgiving weekend for 3 nights , my son, daughter and son-in-law stayed for a long weekend . This place was absolutely perfect on the canal just down from kings bay and three sisters spring , we of course made use of kayaks and saw hundreds of manatees this place is very comfortable for a large family , plenty of room and very clean with all the comfort of home . Close to lots of awesome places to eat . Will come here again ,

The first day we got there we went to the dock area and saw a manatee underneath the bridge. It came back later and it had a baby with it. We throughly enjoyed our family stay! The place was clean and was in a good location too. We made the use of the kayaks.

Boat ramp 200 yards from property. Open concept kitchen, lots of room and ample parking. Air conditioning worked very well. Manatees visited the dock several time while kids were swimming. Close to springs.

Perfect Getaway Week
Our family of 7, two teens, grandma, aunt and uncle, mom and dad, all decended on this property for a week of fun. The property is in a central location around Crystal River but with very little boat traffic thanks to being at the end of a canal. The house has just about everything you might need to cook, clean and simply enjoy spending time with family. Plenty of living space and room to stretch out. I loved going out on the dock and watching for "friends." One morning I watched SEVEN manatees swim past and into the culvert up stream. It was magical! The back steps off the deck are a little tricky so he careful on the bottom two. The Plantation across the water allows you to put in your boat for a $20 fee, but please do NOT wait to take out until a weekend morning. Nightmare, hubby will listen to my suggestions next time. Hahahaha. Lots of fun vacay restaurants within minutes. Loved boating and then stopping at Crackers (dog friendly outdoors) for drinks and food. Be sure you read the binder for good tips on navigating the waterway and be so careful two hours from low tide as many of the areas get very shallow and tricky. We had a manatee swim up to our boat for a back scratch in the shallow areas. We were terrified we had hurt it but it was just as happy to give us a little bump and swim away. Went out to the bay for some scalloping and had a little success but need to be out past 5 feet of depth for sure. Have a blast and enjoy your time. Thanks to Donna for our adventure!

Spacious comfortable place with many amenities
We enjoyed staying here plenty of room for 7 grown adults and 2 children. We defiantly would come back here again. The access to the gulf through the river was very nice this time of year we had no problems getting in or out.

Perfect location

The house was perfect for my family of eight. We enjoyed relaxing and sitting on the dock and my grandchildren loved to fish. We also loved that there were enough kayaks for all 8 of us to venture off in. The owner was readily available and gave suggestions to make sure our stay was one to remember.

Beautiful Home, Exceptional Hostess!
We had such a Wonderful time staying at this location. It felt like Home away from our own home. Donna was very accommodating and I felt she wanted us to have the best time ever. Family Friendly House on the Water
The house was very nice for our family visit. The open floorplan was great for spending time with everyone and it had everything we needed for the weekend. It's close to the main road but we weren't disturbed by traffic noise at all. We'll likely be back again the next time we see our Florida family.

Kayaking with the manatees
The property is perfect for jumping in one of the provided kayaks and heading to Three Sisters Springs. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and the view from the backyard deck is nice.

Ten Billion Stars Worthy
Donna was a super responsive and friendly hostess! The home was in a beautiful and convenient location. It had everything we needed and more. We stayed here with 4 adults and an almost 2 year old. Super clean and accommodating. I had the added pleasure of meeting Donna in person and she was a sweetheart. Hopeful to return next year!

Great value and location
We really enjoyed our stay at the lovely home on a canal. The house is very well maintained and as advertised. With access to a canal we were able to see a part of CR we normally would not have and we really enjoyed the Waterfront Social restaurant. The kayaks need a little TLC, lots of security cameras outside and the road noise took a little to get used too but overall we really enjoyed our stay and the easy access to many things.

Wonderful getaway

Great trip with the grandkids
Comfortable house in a great location. Donna, our host had several kayaks at the property and my grandsons told me kayaking was their favorite thing we did. Kayaked to 3 Sisters Spring one day. Swam with the manatees one day, and when we went fishing the guide picked up at the canal dock behind the house. We would love to stay there again our next trip to Crystal River!

Amazing Stay
House was very clean, comfortable, well stocked with anything you could possibly need, in the perfect location for our scalloping trip and Donna was easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. The floating dock worked great for our boat and it was easy to use the boat ramp at Plantation just a couple of houses down. Manatees came to visit every morning and stayed a while. KIds enjoyed fishing off the dock. There was also a fire pit, which I thought was great, we just didn't get a chance to use it. Thank you, Donna!

Great mini vacation
Everything from start to finish was a breeze. Getting into the property was easy with plenty of room for boat and trailer storage. Boat ramp right across the canal also food shopping and anything else we needed was 5 min up the road. The floating dock is in great shape and did a great job for our 21' deck boat. Water clarity was great and for first time scalloping its easy to locate spots and we didn't do bad. Overall 5 star vacation spot.

Perfect location for boating Crystal River!
This is a perfect property for people with children who want to go boating along the Crystal River. Great dock at the end of the canal before the bridge. 5 min boat drive to closest marina and restaurants. We'd definitely stay again!

Fun scalloping weekend
The house was perfect for our scalloping weekend. Very comfortable for 3 families (one family of 4 and 2 families of 2). The floating dock made boating easy. Loved all the kayaks. Homeowner makes check in and check out very easy with minimal chores required. We will definitely be booking this house again next year!

Wonderful experience!
We had a great stay with friends for a scalloping trip. The enclosed back patio (with locking door) was perfect for keeping equipment secure and there was a spot off the side of the driveway to park the boat trailer. The dock was very easy to access and we even saw several manatees in the canal behind the home daily. We usually stay at the Plantation Inn, but this was way more convenient and comfortable. The main plus is having your own personal dock reserved. This made boating to dinner and the springs much more enjoyable as you didn't have to find a spot once you get back. I would definitely recommend this rental, and stay here again too.
