Great place!!
We stayed here on our way to Montana for our honeymoon. Our whole stay was great and the room was clean and very comfortable. We will be back!

Loved this hotel and hope to stay again!
Spent the weekend in deadwood for a families birthday. They had a wonderful time and loved the experience of deadwood. The ambiance of the hotel was outstanding and it was very comfortable, clean and roomy.

Great experience - parking is a few blocks away
The hotel is cool. It’s old which is part of the charm. But the rooms are nice. We had a great time here.

Mixed bag of goodies and disappointments
Loved the historic look of the rooms, bathroom was huge but little counter space.full length mirror was nice and useful. Room was poorly lit. Outside noise was a bit of a problem, but location was great. They wont come into your room for cleaning, you have to request new towels, and place trash cans outside the door. Bed wasnt comfy, gave us both backaches. Wifi was great.

Miss info on site
Clerk said they would give free parking which was a parking garage three blocks away. We showed our parking pass as was requested and the fee was not taken off the bill. Plus, no one in site to discuss this issue when leaving.

Pretty awesome town
We absolutely loved our room and our stay. the only issue we had is the parking garage. Too small to park my truck. I had to park on the roof and a big storm was coming. I had over 250 dents in my brand new truck I've only had for 2 weeks. Not the hotel fault. I just wish the was a parking garage destinated for bigger truck and not just for compact vehicles. All the trucks on the roof had hail damage, sadly. The town is pretty awesome and can't wait to visit for another stay.

Good place to spend a night!
Location is right in the center of Deadwood. Parking is in a public ramp 2 blocks away. We used it as a fun stop on our way home.

Nice, but you had to work at it
The Hotel was quite fascinating, however there was no one at check in or for check out at the front desk. Not very informative from the Cashier Cage clerk in the Casino where we were directed. Thermostat was not working in our room and it got very cold. No one answered the phone when we called. I would stay again PROVIDED they find the needed help they need.

The parking situation was less than ideal. We had to walk several blocks to our car. We had issues with our toilet. The front desk staff was very kind, but they were not staffed with enough people to fix the toilet issue, so we fixed it ourselves. The location is perfect and the hotel is charming. We would stay again- even with the parking and toilet issues.

Old time charm!
This place is exactly as the reviews describe. Old fashioned charm with all the comfort you need. It was clean and close to everything! I avoided the parking fee and used the paid lot across the street. Since I was there a short time, this worked well for me. (It's $10 a day otherwise. The city of Deadwood must make a killing on parking fees!)

Good location, nice room
Received minimal information upon checking in. We had to ask about parking. There was no housekeeping, which would have been fine if we were told. Instead, we had to visit the front desk every time we needed something. Overall, the property was good. The room was nice and clean with a good view of Deadwood. Convenient location.

Hidden Gem
This is a hidden gem. Prices are extremely reasonable for what your getting. Quiet, clean, and historical. Staff was absolutely exceptional. Loved the fact we walked right out our door and was on main Street Deadwood. Had a terrific time gaming and even came home with a little profit. The only thing that I would have like to have seen is the disclosure of the hidden $10 per day parking fee. The app said a total price with taxes and fees, but when we were being charged, it added the extra $30 for 3 days of parking in a public garage. Would have been nice to have known before the charge. Walking to the garage was only a 5 minute walk down Main street. Didn't mind that at all.

Room was quiet and comfortable, with easy access. Only one complaint: the pillows on the bed are terribly uncomfortable and must be replaced.
