First class fishing and hunting lodge located in Hopedale, Louisiana. Minutes away from the best fishing & hunting in South Louisiana. Our lodge includes five bedrooms (2 queen beds, 1 full, 2 triple-twin bunks) and three full baths with a beautiful outdoor entertainment deck. Convenient location near Hopedale Marina
The house met our expectations at every level, giving us plenty of space to spread out and sleep comfortably. We kept to the top level of the house. We did not use any of the amenities located on the middle floor. We did notice that all smoke detectors were missing from the top floor, something the owner should remedy.

Awesomeness
This place was the Bomb~ Perfect setting for a family and friends get away. We all went Bowfishing so we stayed Friday to Sunday and there was plenty of room for 8 people. I would recommend the lodge to anyone with a large group.

Amazing fishing trip!
The house was amazing and exactly what I wanted. The week started out with a couple of my buddies with me for a guy’s fishing trip (we are all from TX but I have family that lives in the area.) The fishing was spectacular; we caught a lot. The second half of the week, the guys left and my wife and boys joined me after getting off a cruise in New Orleans. They enjoyed the house as well! It was a win-win and if we do this again, we will definitely be back! Thanks for many great memories!

Fishing was poor but the father son fellowship was fantastic. There are 3 rooms that sleep one man each and 2 bunk rooms that sleep 2 each which was perfect for 3 father son teams. TV, grill, porch and location all work. I would stay here again!

Great Basecamp for fishing Hopedale
Great camp! Clean, well maintained, plenty of parking for trucks/trailers. 2nd floor is great for hanging out after a day of fishing. Will be back.

Perfect Camp for a fishing trip
We stayed at the camp for a week and loved it. The camp was exactly as described from the listing. The boat ramp on site is a huge plus for us. There was a small issue that was communicated to the property owner when we arrived. He was very responsive and the issue was fixed immediately. We are already looking at dates to go back again. The second story porch was a great place to relax after a day in the marsh. We were very pleased with the camp.

Weekend Getaway
Went with a friend so our 13 year olds could fish. Everything set up perfect. Easy to launch, fish then come back and clean them and relax and cook with our wives and younger children. This camp has everything you need right down to the ice machine.

Incredibly convenient
This is my third time to stay at this property. The owner is easy to work with and very responsive. He allowed a later checkout when I shared that we’d be out late on a bowfishing trip that ran late into the evening. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great camp
Owner was very quick to respond and the house was perfect for a fishing trip. The ramp and slip was a very short walk across the street. Second story deck was the place to be. Virtually everything you could need/want was there. I would absolutely stay here again. I would recommend stocking up on groceries. Closest food store was 20 minutes away.

A gem down in Hopedale, LA- perfect getaway for a week fishing! The house is in great condition, beds comfortable, kitchen is well stocked (utensils, cookware, etc), good parking, boat wash area, and great access to some phenomenal fishing. Will be back!
