Easy access to Sugarloaf Marina. House amenities work for our family. The deck is perfect for stargazing and satellite watching! Will be back next year! I know I will return, with the easy self-check-in, the place overall is kept in good condition (outside, hard to do in the nature setting, making upkeep more challenging)...the rooms, I have stayed in, have been great. Had everything needed and in working condition and bed was comfy. Thanks for another good nights stay. "

"We had an absolutely spectacular birthday weekend for my wife. The house is completely out on its own—you can’t see another structure wherever you look. The photos honestly don’t do the view justice. It’s gorgeous. The kitchen has everything you need, the master bedroom is as comfortable as you could hope for (we didn’t use any of the guest rooms), and the hot tub is really the highlight of the property. We’re almost certainly going to go back. The host, Michael, was responsive and accommodating. He made the ins and outs easy. Overall, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. "

"The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay."
