Shasta Spring Break

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. It was the perfect location to many outdoor activities. The home itself was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely be back to do more exploring!

lovely place

A very well kept and cute place to stay with my mom and sister for a family get together. The owners were very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate and had everything a person might need to have a comfortable stay.

Perfect 1/2 way point for the SoCal to NW trip. Very well appointed, roomy and clean. Fenced backyard worked perfectly for our dog, better than hotel. A+!

Great communication, they even accommodated one of our special requests. House was great, big space out front for our moving vehicle and easy to get back on to the road whilst still remaining peaceful. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful guest house

We loved the house. It was great except the previous guest must have had a dog and the house smelled like a dog. I had to use air freshener and open all the windows. There was no dog hair but the smell was overwhelming and powerful. After 24 hours with the windows open the smell dissipated but it was rough the first night.

Good location. Easy access to freeway and lake activities. Very clean and safe. Only surprising deficit was the lack for an oven in the kitchen. Plan meals accordingly. I would stay here again.

Overnight Stop

This was a clean and comfortable home to break up the drive to Oregon. Close to the freeway but no freeway noise. Able to park a car with trailer. Good fenced yard for our dog. Cute outdoor siting area and bar b que; if only it had been warmer! It was nice inside, the bed was comfortable, and the master bathroom was clean and had good amenities.

New Years Celebrations/ Shasta Caverns

We rented this home for an overnight trip to the Shasta Caverns. The rain accumulation for the weekend forced the caverns to stop tours. We ended up still going on our trip because it was too late to cancel the rental. We had a blast ringing in the new year with our children. I was surprised to find there was no oven. We bought lasagna to cook for dinner. Thankfully we bought two small Costco lasagnas and they fit in the toaster over we found tuck away in the cupboard.

Very nice VRBO. Exactly as described. Backyard was lovely, especially with the covered sitting area.Location was good for access to Lassen. Downtown Redding a short drive away.Shasta Lake City doesn't have a lot of amenities, but a grocery store is close for stocking up on supplies

Great stop for our road trip!

The property is amazing! Very convenient, very safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this house to anyone, very suitable for a family and it has all the things you’d need to have a nice stay. Thank you for letting me and my dad use your property for the night!

Wonderful property, better than described

This was the perfect property for our week-long Lake Shasta/Redding area stay. The yard was perfect for our two dogs. The home is nicely updated, and the main bedroom mattress was great; it was not too firm or soft. The home is between two dental businesses, and there were never any issues with traffic or noise. It is an easy on/off the freeway. It was perfect for a couple or small family stay. The internet was great, and I had no issues while working during the week. The owner/manager is very responsive, respectful, and pleasant. We will look to stay here again.

Comfortable oasis in a chaotic week

Great place to stay. My mother commented many times on how comfortable and adaptable it was to her needs. She is mostly handicapped after a stroke and cannot sleep lying down, but this place was spacious enough for her to get around easily and had and excellent recliner to help her sleep. We did have to negotiate two shallow steps to enter the house, but I have helped her do that in the past, so it was easy. Everything was high quality and charming.
