“The bartender Eddie saved the day. He’s the pool bartender. The food nor the beach did it for us. We checked out 2 days earlier. Although it was nonrefundable we chose to leave and enjoy the city. The sea grass swarmed the beach. It was so smelly I couldn’t smell my perfume daily. For the price we paid the food wasn’t good at all. The best thing on the menu was the cheese burger. Didn’t receive a welcome drink or hot towel. Very disappointing ”

“The hotel staff were fantastic and the view was beautiful. It was quite a ways from San Pedro town which limited dining options for us. The staff booked us a reservation at Mambo with a driver or boat pickup depending on the weather. The breakfast was good but very few options for dinner at the onsite restaurant. If I could do it again, I would rent a golf cart in town for the duration of our stay and book tours that picked us up at the resort dock.”

“We stayed in ocean view one bedroom. Very well appointed. Balcony was so enjoyable. Peaceful and quiet with the exception of one night the guests below us had a loud party with hired DJ with PA system. It was so loud we left for the evening. The staff/security did shut them down by 9 pm which was very appreciated. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, Rain, twice during our stay as well as the onsite grocery mart The grounds appeared meticulously maintained with beautiful tropical landscaping to……

“Staff was great ..pool , restaurant ,bar all were awesome..only 2 major problems 1st every phone number I tried ( including the key card holder and Expedia listed number) didn’t work. Front desk gentlemen gave me a number that was not close to not one of the numbers on the website or on Expedia or their in-house key card holder. 2nd I understand it was a super busy week for them however, the room I got everything was amazing except the fact that I felt like I was in a closet not one window and……

“This place is great! Staff was amazing, room was clean and spacious. The bistro on site serves amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there for every meal during our stay and never had a bad meal. The only downside was the sargassum. We were there in April for spring break and it was bad. The beach was unusable, which was a shame. The pool was nice and since it's a small resort, it never felt crowded. We would definitely come back!”
