“The overall experience was pleasant. I was just a little disappointed that the rooms are not modern enough and had no usb charging ports. The electricity sockets are square instead of using the universal round. Also has to choose between having the fridge on or using the electric kettle.”

“I stayed three nights and the room was clean and simple. Amazing wifi, but poor tv reception and selection. My room was near the office and spa and there was a lot of foot traffic and noise -- I'd recommend a room on the second floor. They seem to be renovating so there was renovation noise after 9 am too. Pool looked good but was too cold to try it out. Nice breakfast included. I had two strange breakfast related experiences. First, I was told breakfast was served between 7 and 9 am, but then……

“Only one slight criticism, no information in the rooms regarding opening hours for breakfast, lunch etc, and checkout time, also no information on tours operating from the hotel. Apart from that I found the staff very efficient and helpful.”

“From the moment I was picked up at the airport, I had the feeling I had made the right choice. The hosts, Chibiya and Tifo made me feel at home. Although Chiloto Guest House is within walking distance of town, they gladly offered and provided rides. They arranged for game drives and boat rides as well as a day trip to Victoria Falls. The room was spacious and comfortable. The WiFi is excellent. I was so satisfied that I booked a second stay.”
