"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk to tea plantations (1h) or hike down to a waterfall close by. A beautiful stay! Thanks "

"Hotel was comfortable, safe, and they had onsite driver accommodations (apparently a thing in Sri Lanka). We didn't get to stay here long enough, and there was a festival that made the streets incredibly crowded. I wish we had the chance to explore the area more, however we made our way down (per the hotel's recommendation) to dinner at Hideout Lounge, and then back to the hotel. The pool is small and we weren't enticed to use it. Breakfast in the morning is offered as a buffet with plenty of options. I would recommend staying here if you need amenities (such as a shampoo, showergel, and a concierge). Unfortunately, due to the festival and the crowded streets, we couldn't even tell how close we really were to the sacred tooth, or other dining/shopping options. I'm sure under normal circumstances it would have been easier to get a tuktuk or even a car to drive you down into the town."

"It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city . Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. "Tricky to get to, small uncomfortable bed, very dirty, bottled water seen to have been bottled manually (didn't touch it, it had bits inside). Description mentioned 18 pools, we only saw one. Very poorly sound proofed. Not cheap (especially food). Pretty scenery all around."

"A 1970’s hotel which has good sized clean rooms. Comfortable bed and good shower, reasonable WiFi. Helpful staff and good food. Very convenient position in central Kandy without being noisy at night. We didn’t use the pool but it looked well maintained. Good value for money."
