“What a beautiful experience! I HIGHLY recommend. My husband and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful, jungle experience and Mystic River delivered. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and our room was wonderful and the bed was comfy. Steve, Mike & Olivia went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Steve & Olivia took care of us at the facility and Mike was our wonderful tour guide the entire stay. The food was delicious and perfectly plated (many thanks to the chef) and the rum punch……

“The view was very nice but it felt a bit pricey considering some areas of the facility required repairs. Just little things like chipping concrete and pool tiles. The staff was friendly and helpful but the resort was overpriced in my opinion.”

Joelle (spelling?) was extremely warm and helpful. He booked us a private tour to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Mark was our guide and the tour was incredible! “Great stay! Beautiful, quiet, well kept grounds. Clean accommodations and very comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convient to town and free pick for most tours in the area. Would definitely stay again.”

“It wasn't a bad stay but it wasn't what I expected. Instead of a room in the main hotel, we were upgraded to a cabin, in the back of the property where it was so dark I drove into the concrete septic block! No damage fortunately. And I guess back there was better than being up front because of a loud party on a Monday night. At least the room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and the bed was comfortable for the price. Unlikely to return.”

“Like many eco lodges in the area, rooms are basically screened-in porchs with adjustable shutters - perfect for the setting, but very exposed. So, I get up at 2:30am for a routine bathroom visit, and let me add the (surprisingly relevant) detail that it was the quick and quiet #1 variety. Just as I was back in bed turning off the light, someone in the dark just outside my window asked 'Are you alright?'. Startled, at first I assumed this was a conversation between 2 people coincidentally on……

“I absolutely LOVED my stay at Falling Leaves Lodge. My partner and I were blown away with the service, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, and clean room. Paula at the front desk went above and beyond for us, whether it was confirming our excursions, arranging taxis, or ordering us early breakfast, she handled it all.
