Very disappointed after a recent stay at the Movenpick West Bay Doha. This is a 3-star hotel at best. The concierge was completely unhelpful in giving restaurant recommendations (literally could not name one suggestion) and did not know where to get a COVID test at for our return flight to the US. Our shower leaked out of a hole in the wall and created a large puddle every time the shower was on. Our door did not lock, and after approaching the front desk and being told that they would send someone up right away, the door was not fixed by the time we departed the next day. Finally, we could smell cigarette smoke in our room through the air vents, despite having booked a non-smoking room - a very unpleasant smell to be woken up by in the middle of the night. We were very disappointed with this experience. The rating of this hotel should be downgraded - it was neither 5-star in service or accommodation.
