love the space and kitchenette. easy parking. shower needs caulking, quite nasty. at checkin a fellow guest asked for the free room water, none was in our room nor offered, small thing.

The property is well-kept and close to many businesses. The only problem was that they didn't clean the rooms daily. They clean them every other day and we only stayed 2 days. Also, you could hear the people on top making a lot of noise.

The location is nice, close to town and shopping. I checked in on a Friday and there was a leak in the shower, which was close to the bed., annoying! It was not addressed until Monday. The shower area really needed some deep cleaning as there was mold along the floor. The shears need to be replaced, there were holes in them. I was shocked that there was a $10.00 a night parking fee, they do list this but I missed seeing it on the listing. The room was nice just not a place I would stay again and I have been coming to Durango for 18 years.

Bugs in the room, rooms not being cleaned, noisy guests in other rooms making noise all hours of night and front desk does not care. Stay away from this place there are way better options.

Nice Christmas Stay
Thanks so much for a lovely Christmas stay. The 2-bedroom suite was perfect for our family. Breakfast was quite good, and we were happy to have coffee and tea available until late in the evening. The only minor criticism that I have is to please do better stocking the kitchens in the rooms. We planned to eat in for most of our stay but cooking wasn't always easy. Otherwise, it was great. We'd definitely stay again.

We had an extended stay for a week in a studio suite. The breakfast was good with a great selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Including eggs, sausage, bacon and waffles. The only thing that made the stay less than stellar was the water pressure in the shower and the television- there is no guide and finding anything is impossible with the station numbering. With this being an extended stay hotel people will probably pass some time watching a little tv but forget trying to find any semblance of a station. The front desk will provide a printout of the channels but why does it have to be so difficult? Next time we will bring our firestick. All in all it was a good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and the kitchen very practical and clean. The hotel is a bit outdated but overall clean and the staff was very friendly.

Found my preference in Hotels
Our stay was great! I love the homey feeling of it. Nice and quiet. The TV in the bedroom. I could not find a guide for the TV. I had to scroll down and find the channel for the guide. Receptionist seemed like she was tired, just as I was, we checked in in the evening. Breakfast was great! Awesome service from the lady. ☺️ I now prefer Residence Inn compared to the hotels I've stayed at. Especially in Las Vegas.

The property is beautiful. The room was kind of clean but could have been better. The shampoo in the shower was completely out. The breakfast staff was so friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff was very short and quick with conversation.

ELEVATOR NOT WORKING FOR GOING ON SEVEN MONTHS
The ELEVATOR has not been operable since April! Why is this? No explanation was offered. There are baggage carts in the hallways upstairs. Can you say, "Fire hazard"? The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The pillows were soft and the beds comfortable. BUT c'mon no elevator?

Staff was excellent, very helpful. Room was nice, our shower was in need of some maintenance , our commode would flush when we got there and the caulking was nasty looking, rest oh our room was fine , we had extra towels in the room that were stained and looked dirty, I got some off the maids cart, we did enjoy our stay

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. We had a late check-ln around 9pm on 9/16/23 to find the refrigerator (full sized) did not work. The young man at the front desk replaced it instead of making us wait until maintenance started the next morning. My interactions with the cleaning staff and the other front desk employees was just as pleasant during our week…

The elevator hasn’t worked since August and there was no advanced notice about this. They only had a 3rd floor single room along with the 2 bedroom suite we did get on the first floor. Under normal circumstances it may not have been an issue but we had to choose having my elderly mother go up and down 3 flights of stairs every time we went somewhere, my husband and I staying upstairs when he has an injury aggravated by stairs, or putting our teen daughter on her own upstairs. Finding all this out at checkin was a bit of a surprise. We never had cleaning service our entire stay in either room, even when requested. Our trash cans were overflowing and we had to ask for additional towels at the desk. They told us cleaning service only happens every other day, but that didn’t even happen.

Very disappointing.
The elevator was out of order, and we were put on the 3rd floor. There was a 10$ per night parking fee which was waived because the elevator wasn't working. There were small black bugs in the room that we reported but were never dealt with. The Wi-Fi was marginal in our room but may have been better if we spent $5 a day for the "enhanced" Wi-Fi. There was supposed to be daily room service, but it was every other day.

The property was just an average place. The room was large and had all the amenities needed. The shower leaked due to poor installation of the shower doors. The breakfast was ok but was the same every day with the exception of meat choice. The elevator was broken and we were not notified before our stay and our room was on the top floor right on the highway, so it was loud most of the time. The hot tub looked dirty and smelt like heavy chlorine so we decided not to enter it. The staff was the best thing about this hotel. I give it a 3/5.

Guest Desk service guy was amazing. I think his name is Tom. I could be wrong, but he was very professionally, knowledgeable and courteous. The only issue I had with the property was the elevator was broken…But that’s okay. My real issue had nothing to do with the property… I had to hear loud stomping, things banging above me the moment I got into the room. It finally stopped about 8:45PM. Must’ve been a bunch of kids. Who knows.

Accommodates large families
It is the only hotel we could find that would accommodate 4 children with 2 adults without splitting us up into 2 rooms. It's interesting that it is easier to find hotels that accept pets than it is to accommodate large families and this is the only one we could find. It was a pleasant enough hotel that we will stay again. The staff were very good and friendly. The cons are that they charge $10 a day for parking, do not have a working elevator (I have a bad hip), and there are only two washing machines for the whole hotel and they are on the second floor.

We stayed at this facility and it was okay. Not the best Residence I've been in as the pull-out couch bed was filthy and hadn't been cleaned in a while (leaves, twigs, dirt, and BARK). It was more effort to alert the front to switch rooms. The property was older and had a musty smell to the halls and rooms. I might try another place when visiting Durango, CO.
