"My love and I had just let go of our dog and needed a change of scenery and to just breathe!! This was my first experience with VBRO and once the sting of the expense went away, it was well worth the process and the experience was fantastic! We walked thru the streets and window shopped, found the park to walk our remaining dogs, and a store to shop for a wonderful steak dinner! "My husband and I had a great stay at the Hoothaus. Great location with easy access to mountain biking and running trails. Close to the lake and to downtown Nevada City, yet still quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very communicative and helpful in suggesting local activities. Space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. "

"Celebrated my birthday with family and friends. Place was very clean, beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, had bbq, dinner and breakfast in the backyard. Its a beautiful house and host had simple rules that was easy to follow. Thank you we had great time staying here. "

"Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding.
