It was an easy drive to friends near Albany and Chatham offered lots of restaurant choices and shopping with independent business owners-just like small town America used to be. Conservation area right down the road and beautiful drive to Great Barrington via Hillsdale or Rt 71 to Egermont. Country setting away from the summer crowds at Great Barrington...

"The young lady at the desk was extremely nice, but the building and the room smelled so bad of disinfectant we could hardly breath. The room was not as advertised. One queen bed which looked clean and a small sofa bed with torn arms and the carpets were so dirty. The advertised kitchen had no utensils or dishes and glassware."
