"I stayed 2 weeks in one of the "long stay" rooms. So you know what you're getting: - The food was excellent. - El Zonte during the off-season is a very sleepy town. - It's a 3 or 4 minute walk to get from Hotel Michanti to the beach. - The rooms were clean and very basic: No TV, no hot water, cement floors (at least in the long stay rooms). - The beds were comfortable - The staff were gracious and friendly. - You will need to cross the little river to get to the other side of El Zonte, which it seems to me has more hotels and restaurants. Overall it was a good value."

"Only four rooms, as far as I could tell, so service was attentive. A lovely pool and bar with a view over the ocean. Beautifully presented drinks. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was so-so. The beach is down a flight of steps and it's the best way to get to the rest of El Zonte. I was very happy there and will be back."

"Gracias por una agradable estadía el desayuno variado y hasta nos llevaron pupusas a la mesa. La ubicación excelente y la seguridad también. La última noche el apagón no se notó porque todo fluyó como si nada hubiera pasado. Mariana en el Buffet siempre nos recibió con mucha amabilidad y una gran sonrisa además nos recomendó lugares y ayudó con la ubicación. Esperamos volver pronto con toda la familia "
