"This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again."

"First impressions: the long driveway in to the cottage provides for a very private location, but within a vast clearing. Cottage was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. I brought my mountain bike with me and was thrilled to ride on the gravel roads (I wasn’t able to ride the walking trails as they were way too muddy at this time of year). Adam was very pleasant to work with and provided timely responses to any emails or texts. Will definitely stay at this cottage...

"Cottage was spacious which was nice for our family. Trek down to the water needs some work. It is a much longer and more difficult descent then the listing makes it seem. The dock was also partly under water which was disappointing. The condition of the kayaks and life jackets left much to be desired and so we did not use them."

"My group and I planned a weekend getaway to celebrate three of us who have birthdays in April. The space and amenities was great for us to relax and chat together, play board games, cook together, and spend some time around the fire pit. We even got to canoe a bit despite the colder weather. The property was more than comfortable and equipped to stay in and enjoy! The selection of activities was great as well, it was nice to have a billiards table, some arcade games, and outdoor water...

"Overall our 3 night stay was pleasant. The host/manager communicated well to provide all the information, although it would have been more convenient if it was provided in a message or document the day before checking in without having to ask targeted questions. Also, asked for early check in (3pm instead of 4pm), but did not receive confirmation on the day of as expected, so we arrived just after 4pm to check in to find the cleaner just starting to clean the space. "A wonderful place to stay. A home away from home. Very friendly. Wonderful, clean and spacious. Loved the kitchen with all the pots, pans, stove, microwave and enough plates and cups. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. We only missed a clothes rack to hang up the laundry we did not want in the dryer. Outside lounge set, bbq and fire pit. The bathroom was clean. Loved the interior design. Close to the shops and restaurants. 30 minutes away from Algonquin park. We really enjoyed our stay! Next time...

"We had no problems finding the property to this Gem. Trailer was in a beautiful spot overlooking the river. Very private, trailer was clean, owner was very nice, made sure we had everything we needed, if there was anything we needed like wood, the owner brought it right to our site. That was very nice of him. If you love nature , you will love this spot. There are a couple other spots on this property you can also book that are also private.
