Excllent hotel in Massy
Excellent hotel, service was very good, staff very helpful. Close to Massy train station and a short taxi ride to Orly Airport.

Good hotel near train station
Near the train station, there is a mall nearby too. Otherwise, the area around the hotel is quiet. Traffic is busy during weekdays.

Simple but clean. Pleasant staff
The only issue I had it was lack of toiletries. I expected there will be something in the bathroom as I was going to Paris only for 2 days businesses trip with small suitcase. But there was only a shower gel which smelled like already out of date.

Efficient in everyway
Very comfortable and efficient hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Railway very short walk so easy to access airport. Very useful having restaurant in hotel, nice meal and good service.

The hotel was very good. Staff were very helpful, room was fine. WiFi was good connection and reasonable speed. The location is good for transport links, both rail and bus services are very good. But not a lot of choice with regard to nearby restaurants. Alcantara, which was a 10 minute walk away, was a very good restaurant.

Breakfast is the same everyday. WiFi doesn't always work. For one evening I had no WiFi at all, which is bad for business traveler.

Good hotel for business stay
Used this hotel as convenient for conference at nearby Ecole Polytechnique. The room was a bit small but pleasant and I think it was probably refurbished recently. Nice shower and good restaurant

Good business hotel a bit far from central Paris
I stayed at the Mercure Paris Massy for 4 nights while having business at the nearby Ecole Polytechnique. The Mercure is a perfectly adequate business-trip hotel. It located a few minutes walk from the Massy TGV and Massy-Palaiseau RER stations. The accommodations at the hotel are just fine and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Other than the railway stations, there is nothing of interest in the neighborhood. Other than the hotel restaurant, there is almost no place to eat at night on the Mercure side of the railroad tracks. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes to the other side of the railroad tracks (using a long overpass) to find any place to eat or even a market. The RER B line into central Paris is convenient. The trip will take 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day and whether you get an express(plus the time waiting for the train). I think this Mercure is a bit far from central Paris for being a tourist unless you make the trip only once a day.

More of an Ibis than a Mercure level hotel
The room was clean but, was not insulated well. It was very easy, and unavoidable, to hear the people staying in rooms around you. The heater wasn't adjustable and remained on a high output throughout the night...rather uncomfortable. On the positive side, the reception was very nice and welcoming.

Fine for a Mercure
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times on business because of its close proximity to the train station. I then take a local bus to my work site. The hotel is very typical for the chain. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is typical for the chain which means that the eggs are running and in my opinion, not good. However, the rest of the breakfast is a very standard for a Europen-chain hotel. Decent wine selection. Rooms are clean but nothing exciting. Obviously, I am satisfied with the hotel since I have returned more than once. Easy to go for dinner in the city by RER B. I have stayed at other hotels in the area, including in Les Ulis but I keep coming back to the Mercure in Massy for its connivence to the train.

Had to wait almost 15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk so I could check out. Rooms are typical for Europe small but mostly functional. The bathroom was huge but there was no stand up shower, only a hand held unit that was mounted at the same height as the faucet. The large bath seems like a terrible waste of space.

OK for a night but not for a long stay
The whole place was a bit scruffy. Also, I scratched the door of my car in the parking area out front on a low bollard I couldn't see that had the protective panel missing. The AC in the room was pretty feeble.

All in all, a nice stay
This was by no means a luxury hotel, but it was convenient and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful when I had a problem. The room was small by American standards, but this did not pose a problem. The biggest plus of the hotel was its location, just a short walk from both a Metro station and a TGV station. This allowed me to quickly and easily arrive at and leave the area. I had two complaints: 1. Only wireless internet was offered. My American laptop could not use the wireless network, thus preventing me from doing some important work. 2. The price of the breakfast buffet was pretty high. This convinced me to just buy some fruit and yogurt from the nearby grocer.
