Casa de Campo do Vale is part of a farm located in a mountain village in the Fafe Mountains. It was once part of the privileged lands of Couto de Pedraído, which defined a protected area bounded by boundary markers that still exist today.
Casa do Alpendre is part of the Casa de Campo do Vale complex and shares the outdoor space with three other houses: Casa do Vale, Casa do Palheiro, and Casa da Eira, with a total capacity of 15 guests.
There is a reception area, a lounge, a laundry room, and freely accessible common areas (barbecue area, wash basin, garden, threshing floor with granite paving, parking, and farmland).
In addition to lodging, it also offers services related to rural and cultural tourism, as well as the sale of agricultural products.
On the grounds of Casa de Campo do Vale, through which the Vizela River flows, vegetables and fruits are still grown, such as potatoes, beans, corn, walnuts, chestnuts, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, carrots, turnip greens, strawberries, and more… There are also animals here, such as horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese, among others, which guests can enjoy.
The main stage of the Rally of Portugal (Confurco) passes 3 km from Casa do Alpendre.
