Building was run down and deserved a renovation throughout. Ripped curtains, broken shower stall, burnt out light bulbs and only one remote control for 2 separate televisions. Limited breakfast in the morning. Major issue was the need of facility upkeep.

Hotel’s convenient and cheap for a quick nights stay before your flight at RSW, but other than that not the greatest experience. We weren’t told ahead of time that they only take credit or cash for the deposit (NO DEBIT) so we had to walk across the street to get cash. I’ve never heard of a policy like this. The employees attitude at check in was far from welcoming. We also weren’t given the wifi password so we tried calling the front desk multiple times to no avail. Aside from the strange deposit policy and poor customer service, the room was also in very poor shape. You can tell they haven’t renovated in a very very long time. We stayed in room 316 and the door was either super old or previously kicked in because it didn’t close properly and we were unable to use the deadlock. Luckily we felt we were in a safe enough location to be able to just rely on the latch lock for the couple of hours we stayed. So I guess you could count that as one of this hotels few pros.

I normally don't complain but this hotel was just awful. The hotel looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed for a week. The couches in the lobby were horrifying! No bed skirts on the bed. The box springs were showing and had stains. Gross! A bed skirt would have done wonders. The pool water level was low so the water was not going into the skimmers to be filtered. I cant imagine they are testing the water based on the color of the water. The hot tub was not working and the water was almost black. I booked the hotel because it was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. I read that there was a shuttle to the airport. There is no shuttle. They state they are renovating but this was just unacceptable. Pick somewhere else to stay.

Room needs updated Mold around tub, no soap in the bathroom, no comforter on the bed, telephone didn't work, only one small trashcan in the room. Pillows are small and square Would not recommend this motel TV remote had battery cover missing

What I liked is that the hotel had a room available and was 10 minutes from the hotel. What I did not like is that there was a dank smell in the hotel. Also, my room smelled stale and the bedding also smelled bad.

The dirtiest hotel I have ever seen could not believe it we never even checked in. It looks like it has been painted in 20 years. The lobby was just as bad. The couch in there looked like it was filthy. It be good for you guys to check it out and like I said we walked out.

I called and ask if they have a shuttle to the airport. They told me they did and that I just had to tell them when. So I made a reservation through Expedia. When I got here, the front desk said that they haven't had a shuttle for about 6 months. So I had to make an Uber reservation to go 6 miles. NOT HAPPY.

We had stayed at this hotel years ago, and remembered it as a family oriented, nice hotel. How times have changed this place. To begin, their internet service was so bad my Apple products would not allow my mail to populate my email due to their unsecured Wi-Fi. On the side of the building was a door that would not only not lock, it was stuck upon about 4 inches. Next to the door was rat traps. Fortunately we never saw a rat, but would not have been surprised as there was lots of trash in this stairwell. Trash was also piled in the space where the ice machine was located on our floor. One of the reasons we booked at this hotel was that they advertised a hot tub. Upon arrival the hot tub was closed, sign said by the State of Florida. Why couldn’t they update their website to say this? We stayed 8 days and got room cleaning, towel change ONCE during our stay. Now to breakfast… we remember healthy breakfasts, with college teams staying there. This time, no college teams, breakfast was horrible. A old waffle iron was heated , but we were told not to use it, as waffles will stick and you will have to scrape them out. Question, why put it out? The same offerings every morning, very limited choices. On a positive note, the staff was courteous, and the patrons were very nice. But I will not return to this Baymont ever again. It needs a renovation, and very soon.

Remember, you get what you pay for. We came to town with short notice and bargain shopped hotels. This seemed like the best we could do for the money but would have chose differently had we seen the room first. When you walk in the hotel, you are greeted by the smell of the leaking elevator hydraulics. However this area smelled better than the actual room. We immediately opened the windows and had them wide open during any of the time spent in the room as well as while sleeping. The staff seemed a little bothered to talk to me as they had to reprogram my room key every day. Hot breakfast is included in the price so I tried it twice. The biscuits/gravy were kind of edible and the eggs pretty gross. I gave it a second chance before opting to go across the road for a mcdonalds breakfast. NO coffee pots in the room (thats pretty rare these days) If you want coffee, you have to go to the breakfast room between 6-9. The coffee there appeared as hot chocolate though it was coffee. I was able to drink a cup and survive. The pool stunk of chlorine and the hot tub was closed but the health department. The pool company showed up during my stay but the spa did not reopen. Housekeeping was on my floor each day as we left and after asking for a bath towel each day to be turned away, I did finally get an extra towel from the front desk on our last day. Bottom line. If you don't like sleeping in your rental car, this may be a slightly better alternative for you. Choose wisely

This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When we checked in there were large air conditioner boxes in the way at the check-in desk the elevator was in total disrepair not to mention it smelled like a family of skunks had moved in. When we got to our room, the floor was disgustingly dirty. The cabinet That the TV was on had exposed bare wood and the bathtub was something I’d never ever want to go near because it was full of mold, And then, to top all of that off as I sat down to take off my shoes, I noticed something underneath the desk. Upon further review it was a man’s dirty, nasty sock, which proves to me that that room had not even been cleaned before we got there. I went down to the desk and complained told them that I was leaving the hotel and that I wanted my money back but of course there was absolutely nothing they could do. shame on you, and shame on the hotel for having the hotel in that condition. We did find out from another close hotel after we left and checked in that the hotel had been closed for periods of time after the hurricane, and that no repairs were ever done. Again, shame on you, and shame on the hotel.

They were overbooked, and I did not get a king room. The room I got was probably up for repairs. In the morning, there was water in the middle of the floor where there was no plumbing. The bed was past it's prime.

From the pictures, I was expecting a clean, fresh atmosphere. Instead, my door was dirty, the lock didn't work (lever broken), there was an argument down the hall, and an odd smell in the room and bathroom (different unappealing odors).

I dont usually write reviews but this hotel might be one of the worse hotels i have ever stayed at Without exaggeration. Their was mold in the shower. Rooms didnt even seem cleaned and customer service was horrible. Please save yourself headaches and dont stay here you will be glad you didnt.

Very loud, echos from hallways, loud music outside windows late at night, smoke smells . Very hard beds also bring your own pillows, they have 4 extra small thow pillows on beds for you to sleep with. Not regular pillows.

Bathroom door had a hole punched in it. Bed didn’t have real pillows. Rooms are no noise proof in any way so you can hear everything. Hotel had all general areas block for construction.

Just there for a short trip with the family.. first I know they are under renovation now.. and the floors and the fridge were great.. but the bathroom was not in the best working order and the tub was pealing.. the door to the room worked every other time… and the over all feel of the place was dirty…hope they get the improvements done soon.
