Wonderful Stay in Destin
We had a great stay at Destin West! Between the lazy river, pools, and beach there was always something to do. Close proximity to local restaurants, shops, Publix meant you didn’t have to travel far once you arrive. Would recommend!

Great location, plenty of space
Pelican 401 was just as advertised. There was plenty of space, sleeping options, and is the corner unit so it has 2 balconies (one in front and one in back).

Location was great. View from end condo was spectacular overlooking lazy river & bay. Close to many restaurants & activities. Bridge over Highway to the gulf beach was easy & safe. Sufficient parking available. Communication with management company was easy & they responded quickly to our needs. We will rent again in the future.

Incredibly accommodating, everything you could wish for was in the condo. Will 100% be booking here again. had one of the most marvelous vacations I could’ve ever envisioned, nothing went wrong it was the best. The cleanliness and location of the property was perfect only a two minute walk to the beach through the sky bridge and the most amazing lazy river two hot tubs and huge pools you can imagine. we walked to every restaurant and every activity we wanted to do because the location was centered at the best part of Destin. I can’t wait to revisit for years to come.

Great location and comfy, clean condo!
The property is close to the beach, local shopping and restaurants. The lazy River and pools were a lot of fun and a beautiful FL backdrop. The beach is a short walk on the sky bridge. The condo was clean and has everything we needed for a week stay.

We love this place and Heron L08 did not disappoint. It has everything you need, including a beach wagon and chairs! We truly love staying on the bay side in this tropical paradise. I was most impressed with the timely correspondence from the owner, Jennifer. She was quick to take care of any needs. We will be back!

Home away from home
We have been staying at Destin West for almost 10 years now and this condo did not disappoint! All the necessities of home with a beautiful view of the bay. We enjoyed our stay very much and had no problems with the condo.

Needs a facelift
We have stayed Destin West 7 times since 2005. This rental company was extremely well to work with! I love the check in process! But we thought the unit could use some updating! The patio furniture was worn. The unit needs some sprucing up! But the biggest complaint would be the mattress ( or lack of mattress) in the master bedroom... my son called it “a prison bed”. It was like sleeping on cement. That is the main reason for the 3 stars.
