“A lot of noise from people walking in and out, and kids screaming early in the morning. That’s not the hotel’s fault. But some sound isolation would be nice. The room was nice enough, nothing extra there. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. Bed was okay, but not the best. ”

“Upon arrival, I was initially assigned an occupied room. The place was unstaffed, and the provided phone number was unreachable. I had to ask other guests for an alternative number. I called, texted, and left a WhatsApp message on that number, but received no response for at least an hour.When I finally received a text message with details for a new room, I found the bed was broken and the room was freezing cold. A staff member told me he would come to fix the issue but ultimately never showed……

“No air conditioning”

“Terrible. Not at all as advertised. Front door was unlocked and open on arrival. Room door was open on arrival and unlockable. Room window was damaged and stuck wide-open, completely unclosable. I called the contact number and had no answer and received no call back. I arrived towards midnight at the property and still chose not to stay here.”

“DO NOT STAY! Absolutely disgusting. Arrived at property with 3 children to find another woman in room, had to sleep in car as hotels.com could not find me another place to stay”

“Very bad experience”

“The bedsheets were dirty with holes in them from cigarette burns and the smoke alarm was covered by a glove hanging on the ceiling Was told a cleaner would come out, but they never did. We did not stayed the night and had to find somewhere else.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE. This is a badly maintained HMO, not guest house. I saw 4 broken windows. The flooring is awful - bare cement outside our room. Our room had no curtains. There was a constantly running tap into a sink outside our room. To top it off, the keypad lock was broken, so when we returned to our room at midnight, we couldn't get back in. No response from the emergency helpline then. Still no response now, 16 hours later. The emergency locksmith I called hadn't arrived after……

“Boiler not working hence no heating or hot water, could not have a shower and had to buy a bowl just to wash. Squatters sleeping on the sofas in the living room every night. Worst accomodation I have ever been in.”
