The owner met us on arrival and at departure and was very kind and did everything to assure we would have a wonderful stay. "We were 24 friends celebrating life! We fell in love with the place and the hosts! Amedeo & Rosanna are the best! They were always available for anything we needed which is was not too much to be honest. They also have amazingly friendly staff to help. We had lots of fun, enjoyed the pool and hanging out. The property is a lot bigger than expected and feels so peaceful. Also, it is located within a 10 minute drive to a beautiful little town that has everything you need, from supermarkets to great bars and restaurants. The town also has a train station that can connect you to bigger cities such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, etc. This was a vacation we will not forget and I recommend this place to everybody!"

"Good value for a stay in the mountains! The staff is very friendly. Even though only 2 out of 3 nights were booked in a Classic room, they upgraded us to a Superior room - which unfortunately is still a bit small. However, the view of the mountains, and fantastic breakfast (beautiful restaurant in separate building up the hill) makes up for it! We wanted to have dinner there, but restaurant was unfortunately closed for dinner over the weekend. On last night, a big bus load of teenage students checked-in that was very noisy until about midnight. But I more so blame it on the teachers/supervisors who should have been better at controlling the kids. Oh well ..."

"Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !"

"Beautiful house as described. Perfect for big families. Only the access road is a bit difficult, we had a Renault Espace which struggled on the dirt road due to the gradient of the road, but we were lucky as no rain. House is close to Lucca which is a very nice town to visit. 1 hr from Florence airport. Well located for food shopping. Nice view of the surrounding mountains, we were lucky to see deers in the morning in the front garden. We had Fabrizio on one of the night to cook traditional dinner for the whole family which I highly recommend. Very easy check in Giacomo was there for any queries as well as Lucy. Thank you for everything."
