Accessibility Concerns Overshadowed Comfort: A Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed at a Country Inn & Suites in Frederick MD & was hoping for an accessible room due to mobility issues. While the staff was accommodating, the experience fell short. The room's bed was unusually high, a staggering three feet off the ground, making it impossible for someone with disabilities to access comfortably. The hotel's solution, a ladder, was impractical and unsafe for anyone with mobility challenges. Despite their attempts, the lack of a viable alternative, such as a cot, was disappointing. Accessibility should encompass more than just a room's dimensions; it should prioritize inclusivity and practicality for all guests.
