This place was the neatest, cleanest place you could imagine. Perfect location just outside of town and had everything you need to enjoy time away from home. Fresh baked goodies upon check in and more showed up as a surprise the next day also... 😍

Perfect Getaway!
We LOVED our stay! The cottage had great vintage charm and updated kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed walking down to the creek and seeing the cows every day. My 17 yr old daughter loved the instagram picture opportunities of the country. Breakfast fixings on the first day and fresh baked bread / goodies every day! Leola is the perfect hostess! Thank you!!

Surprise Birthday Party
My two daughters and myself stayed at the property. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast foods were supplied as well as baked goods. It was only 5.5 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness. The house was decorated with antiques which I adored. The house was very clean with everything furnished.

Peaceful Vintage country home
Peaceful countryside surrounded by open land- cattle and wildlife. Beautiful vintage home with lots of family history. Clean & comfortable. Delicious baked goods delivered daily. Great place to stay-not too far from town. Highly recommend this one.

Just like home
This was a super nice place to stay! It was so quiet and pleasant and reminded me of living in the country when I was a kid. So many little fun additions to look at and just such a calming place to come to when we were tired from sightseeing and so forth. And the updated shower felt really nice!

Clean, quaint, quiet & stars!
We enjoyed this perfect stay made comfortably for four adults. This home has been truly taken care of with much love and care. It is remarkably clean! The pictures do not misrepresent. Every afternoon, our host provided us delicious goodies that sometimes made it till morning if we didn't eat them! We came during the first freezing temperatures of the season and the heater worked perfectly. We also enjoyed the electric fireplace each evening. In each bedroom there were electric magnifying mirrors to get ready for the day. Towels and washcloths were a plenary. And we didn't need a blow dryer, shampoo or body wash. We enjoyed our late evenings under the stars.

Loved it here
This home was very clean and just perfect for our weekend getaway. Only a few minutes to downtown Fredericksburg. Nice and quiet location after a busy day out. Bedrooms were very spacious with cute vanity to get ready. The special touches of homemade bread and cookies were awesome. Then after a day out, we came home to a wonderful loaf of cinnamon bread. I don’t give out 5 stars easily either. We will be back.

Loved this older home with alot of history. Enjoyed seeing pictures and reading about it. It's well maintained and clean, just minutes away from of town. Loved hearing the roosters as we drank coffee on the porch in the morning. Baked goodies and wine upon arrival was a great, welcoming touch! As well as second day goody delivery! Yum! Thank you for opening up your home!

We reserved this house for its proximity to the Jerry Jeff Walker Memorial concert we were attending in Luckenbach. We want to go back so we can enjoy more time just hanging out on this charming, peaceful property. The front porch was the perfect spot for having coffee. The view from any spot in the yard was extraordinary. On the inside of the house, I loved the size of the bedrooms!

Wonderful! Just as described! We love the location. We love that it was out in the country but still close enough to town. We really enjoyed seeing the wildlife especially the cows. The baked goods were an extra special treat. Will definitely be back.

We loved this country setting. Only 6 miles from Fredericksburg. Hosts were so nice. They dropped off fresh bread each day. Property was very clean and enjoyed having breakfast on the back patio and watching the baby birds by the front porch and cows outside the gate in the morning. We saw two deer last night coming back to the house.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was peaceful and quiet, but close to town. It was so relaxing to walk down by the creek in the evening and then come back to the house to enjoy some baked goods that were delivered each day.

The house was so charming and welcoming. The property was beautiful and had gorgeous views of the hill country. The hosts were so gracious and left us some very tasty homemade treats. What a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect. The house was very neat, clean, and cozy. The beauty also extended beyond the walls to the surrounding property. The house sets atop of a hill with a creek running below. Bring your boots to explore the area. The weather was sunny and warm so we were able to sit down by the creek and enjoy the sunshine and beauty. Sunrises are also amazing at this property and can be taken in with a cup of coffee out on the screened in patio. We had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were both wonderful people. They went above and beyond to make our stay remarkable by stocking the kitchen with farm fresh eggs, preserves and also a few sweet treats. This was by FAR the best VRBO I've rented.
