It may not be a big-name hotel, but I’ve stayed here regularly while working out of town, and it’s consistently a great experience. "I was just utilizing the cabin for sleep because of a road trip to nashville, cabin is clean has everything you need, couldn’t get the TV to work but no biggie. clean, decor is nice. I didn’t pull out the couch bed because I didn’t want to break anything so I just slept on the couch itself. now be aware that there is a 1500 deposit charge and it takes like 2 weeks to get that back. other than that no complains, there’s lakes around the area for fishing, I ate at a restaurant 10-15 minute drive “Gear Jammers” fabulous food and great hospitality. and about 30-40min from Cathedral State Park. oh try getting there before it gets dark because it’ll be hard to see the sign “sweet reels” and I came from the road where the sign wasn’t facing me and it was pitch black out so I missed it and had to double back"

"This IS a pet friendly home. Through no fault of the owner, we booked without realizing this & one guest wasn’t able to stay due to the pet allergens inside. If you have sensitivities, this isn’t the place for you. If you don’t have pet dander sensitivities, you will love this home. The back porch will be one of your favorites, as it overlooks the beautiful pond. The location is convenient, and it is in a quiet and safe location. "
