My brothers bachelor party was in Green Bay, Wisconsin on the 9th-10th of april. We booked 4 rooms at the Motel 6 located at 1614 Shawano avenue. At check in our reservations got mixed around by the desk clerk, and everybody payed for eachother's rooms intead of paying for our own. They demanded a $50 cash deposit for each room up front. (With reservations, customers cards "on file" though no issue getting our deposits back the following day.) It should've been stated upon reservations, as it slightly crippled our budget for the bachelor party that evening. When we retired to our rooms for the night, we realized the conditions of our rooms. The cumforters, and bed linnens had food particles and stains everywhere. We took photos and requested clean bedding. The groom's room was the least habitable, and 2 of the 4 were separated from the rest of the group. We requested a room change, at which point, roughly 3am, the clerk stated he was cancelling all 4 rooms, and I quote him "Since you guys have all been drinking and have to leave now, I'm calling the cops for drunk drivers." This evening was planned ahead of time, so we had designated drivers, and no issue with police when they arrived. The clerk then allowed us to cancel the groom's room, and keep the remaining 3 for our guests. Everybody slept fully dressed and on top of the beds or got a ride home from the drivers. We knew it wasn't going to be lavish for $67/night, but didn't figure by the website pic's, it was like that.
