First visit to Archduke

We drove 8 hours to the High Point, NC area to purchase furniture for a new house. We brought our pet, housed her in a crate when we were out of the room. We did not detect any pet odors, and our pup did not notice any smells either. Room was spotless, all personnel were personable and helpful, WiFi was EXCELLENT (as travelers know, this is a rare statement) and the free breakfast bar was clean and plentiful.

LOUD GUESTS - No help

I was here on business. After working extremely long days on top of traveling, I was ready for sleep. I was startled awake around 2am by the room next to me, and two rooms across from me slamming doors incessantly for hours on end. A family had the three rooms, and left the metal lock flipped outside the door jam so that they could go in and out of eachother's rooms without keys. This went on all night and into the morning until 7am when my alarm went off. I had work to get done before my meeting, and could not concentrate with the constant door slamming and yelling at eachother. I called the front desk and they said they would call and ask them to stop. Nothing happened. It continued until I checked out. I brought it up to the desk at checkout and all they said was "sorry that happened." Ridiculous. They should have sent a manager up to the rooms to speak with them. I stay at Hampton often, and have never had a problem. I will not stay again, after the lack of help. All of the hot breakfast items were also very cold. Another first for me at Hampton.

Just a quick trip to N.C. this was a perfect quick nightover place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I loved it. The first thing I noticed was the security of the hotel after hours. The room was very clean and the bed was Awesome it gave me much needed rest.

Overall, a nice motel. Breakfast was very good, and had hot eggs, sausage, and real french toast (which my daughter loved), plus other standard foods. Room was clean, staff friendly, AC worked well, and motel was extremely quite. The only issues were: yellow stain on caulk on shower in two places, piece of tile in bathroom had broken off and not been replaced (leaving a hole), and thought the pillows needed more material inside, (but with four pillow per bed, could double them, so no big deal). Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.

Room was fine with the exception of a slightly clogged sink. Breakfast was outstanding and well beyond what was expected for a free breakfast at this price point. Multiple staff members on hand to assist with breakfast which definitely made a difference. Would recommend this Hampton Inn.
