“I was looking for a different experience from the chain hotels, and I got it. Would stay again, but if someone in your group can't take the stairs, this isn't the right place for you.”

“Enjoyed our stay here in Gettysburg. Our room at first needed an extra bed but this was handled free of charge with care and helpful assistance. We liked the Civil War theme throughout - the star-studded carpet, the civil war artwork and cannon in the central foyer. There is a nice swimming pool and is near all the sites and battlefield.”

“The property has some updates but appears to be incomplete. The photo of the pool is misleading at best. It is awful! The hotel is connected to an old building that is not in use but it takes you to the pool.”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an……

“No one came to clean our room for 3 days. Had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. Will not go back. The breakfast was good and changed every day.”
