Great stay
My son and husband came up for an extended weekend of snowmobiling. After forgetting to give the check in info to my husband, this host was extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Great place!
Cabin was perfect, great location on the lake, we went mid winter for snowmobiling, easy access to lake and simple to find! Would recommend taking ur own kitchen pans and utensils if u plan to make a few meals at the cabin. Still, all around great stay!

Old cabin, but very clean and comfortable. Very nice place to go snowmobiling.
Looking for a weekend snowmobile ride near Hayward WI. Snowmobile trail runs in front of cabin on the Chippewa flow age and connects to hundreds of miles of trails. Had a great stay.

Nice cabin in the woods
This was a nice, cabin in the woods next to a lake. The cabin is old, but the owners are doing a nice job of updating. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was also well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Nice relaxing get away.

Would be nice to have a fire pit at each cabin, but overall it was a decent place !

Thank you! Do to the over whelming feed back we will be adding small firepits near the cabins for next year. **** Do to overwhelming requests we added individual firepits to each cabin ;)

a clean basic cabin but be aware of details in listing
This was a clean basic cabin, just what we wanted in that regard. However there was some confusion in the details of what was listed as amenities. This cabin does not have air conditioning and when we asked for the portable unit they said was available, they were reluctant. The cabin got quite warm during the day even with the windows and drapes closed and didn't really cool off until the middle of the night. They did bring us a second fan which helped. There isn't any swimming beach and the TV is only operational to watch DVDs. There are kayaks but no canoe. A nice view of the water from our cabin #5. If you like to fish and bring your own boat, you would probably love this place. They did provide paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and bedding but no towels. I did send a couple of messages prior to the start date to try to find out some of those things ahead of time but received no reply until we had already left on the drive there (over 5 hours for us). Luckily we had brought beach towels so we were able to take showers. The kitchen has a nice assortment of cooking equipment and plates, cups, silverware. Refrigerator is small and doesn't seem to cool sufficiently - it needs defrosting.

Great stay
We had a great experience. The kids enjoyed the complementary kayaks and paddle boat! There was a grill for us to use, which was nice. Only wish there was a fire pit closer to the cabin.

Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have been toying with the idea of addtional firepits but the thought of that many fires going makes us a little nervous. We do have plans to expand the existing firepit area to make it more inviting.

Quaint quiet stay

Great Resort
I had a great time with my group. We had just over 20 people and Cassidy was very helpful getting us accommodated. The location is amazing - in a quiet bay on the Chippewa Flowage with easy access to the open lake. The kitchens in the cabins were well stocked with everything needed to cook a decent meal. I'll be recommending this resort to anyone I know who wants a trip to the area.

Tranquility.
I enjoyed my stay with these fine people. At first I was a bit dismayed that I didn't have TV nor AC but I did not miss it one bit. Cassidy and her family were friendly and readily available to help or answer any questions.

Great access to the Big Chip! Beautiful and peaceful property. Great hosts too! We will be back!
Perfect sized Cottage for our group of 4. Easy check in and out. Close to amenities yet very private and secluded. Family friendly.
