The GLO Hotel Helsinki booked the room in the wrong month, then would not reimburse me after the mistake was brought to thier attention. Hotel management stated that it is hotel policy not to refund as soon as a booking has been made. So I ended up paying for a room a month after I had left Finland. The hotels costumer service policy needs a bit of work. So I will never book or recommend this hotel again.

Dear Jason, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you were not able to stay with us. You have made the booking through online travel agency and when you have made the booking, you have accepted their reservation policy. As the booking is not made through us directly, our hands are sealed and we can't make any changes to the booking. Therefore you were recommended to be in contact with the online travel agency to make the date change but unfortunately free cancellation period was closed already. For future bookings, we recommend to make a reservation directly through us and we have more freedom to make changes. We hope to see you at GLO Hotel Airport some other day!

This hotel is literally located a step away from arrival lobby of the airport. If you are looking for a hotel in the airport, not in the city, you have reasons for that. Just think about it and go for it. You save your time, energy, money, just everything. Besides, 600 bus is just right there, trains going to Helsinki is right there too.

Very easy to access from the airport terminal, well lit and nicely decorated area, staff were excellent and room was very comfortable bedding was clean and very high quality wash room was clean and had everything you required. great location to grab a few hours sleep between flights

We stayed for a night at the Glo Hotel at either end of our skiing trip to Lapland. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable and surprisingly well equipped with a Smart TV, etc. The location (within the airport) was perfect for our early morning connecting flights. Good food options nearby (24 hour supermarket and a few late night restaurants upstairs in the Airport food court). We enjoyed a delicious draught beer from the bar in the Hotel reception, which we took back to our room. The staff were really friendly and left us a lovely note in the room to welcome us back for our second visit! Just a tip if you are transferring to a morning flight, we hadn’t appreciated that our suitcases would be checked all the way through to our final destination, so make sure you remember to pack your pyjamas, toiletries and charger in your carry on luggage!

Clean, modern and convenient as it lies actually within Helsinki airport. Not for me. The room is small, although has most things you want, with no natural light or air. Its a pod type room designed for an overnight stay before a flight. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, the air was dry and the lack of anything except water from the tap, in the room i didnt appreciate. So not for me but others may find it ok.

Comfortable place to stay one night if you have morning flight. Espesially if the weather is bad. Communication with the hotel was very easy and staff during check in was more welcomed than in neighboring Hilton where I stayed several times during my previous trips.

Exactly what you want!
GLO is located in the Helsinki Airport, right after you exit from arrivals it’s to your left and down a flight of stairs. Looks a little spartan at first but the signage gets you to a very nicely appointed travel hotel. Rooms are small and efficient, it’s clean and the 24/7 staff are very nice. I made it from my room to security in 10 minutes. Also, the airport food court is open at all hours and the choices are better than your average Burger King or Subway choices, although those chains are also there. I travel constantly and can tell you that this was a first rate experience. Slept for six glorious hours and that was worth the price.
