Positive: We had a wonderful experience staying at Domus Gemi. Pasquale was very hospitable, making sure we knew about all the sights to see in Napoli. Communication was a bit difficult, as I know very little Italian, and he knew very little English, but he was persistent and pulled up Google translator so we could communicate well.
As listed in other reviews, breakfast was at a café across the street and included a pastry and coffee, which was delicious! He was also willing to call to set up a taxi to collect us at 4 in the morning, as we had an early flight out.
Possible negatives/To be aware of: The apartment is located on the 3rd (European)/4th (American) floor with no lift, so you get lots of exercise. Payment was to be in cash, which I wasn't aware of. It's just one street over from "Spaccanapoli," the heart of the city, which was exactly what I wanted, BUT it is a 20 minute walk from the train station through narrow streets that are filled with people, cars, and very uneven streets. If you're pulling suitcases (as my travel buddies were), this is not ideal. I had a backpack and had no problem weaving through the streets, but my travel mates weren't exactly thrilled with this walk.
